Even though Democrats have always been the poster children for the term "hot mess," since November 5, that has been ramped up one thousand percent. They are the proverbial chickens running around with their heads cut off. They have no idea what to do or say; they have no leader, and apparently, they are sticking with the "hate Trump!" plan. But they know yelling and screaming isn't enough; they need to convince others to hate Trump, too. But how do they do that? Well, one way is to just lie about it, and that is exactly what they are going with.

They have lied about Trump supporters from the beginning. They are racists, sexists, homophobic, transphobic, you name it. But now, they have decided to lie about the votes those Trump supporters cast in November. Reports from several left-wing publications are now claiming that Trump supporters are having second thoughts and "regretting" their vote. The claim is that all of this regret stems from Trump's bold actions on things like immigration and cutting government waste.

But there is just one problem: Donald Trump's approval numbers are the best he has ever seen, even during his first term. The best part is that for some of those doing the polling, the results are undoubtedly physically painful for them. A February 9 CBS poll showed that 53 percent of those polled said they approved of Trump. A recent SurveyUSA poll showed a 51 percent job approval for Trump while 45 percent disapproved. a Morning Consult poll showed that 50 percent approve of the job Trump is doing, and 47 disapprove. Napolitan News Service released a poll on February 14 that showed Trump's approval rating at 55 percent between February 10 and February 14 and up to 51 percent the week before.
Since Donald Trump's second inauguration, the left has set their hair on fire over every action he has taken. "The New York Times" even hilariously referred to Trump and his "executive power grab." Do they realize that Trump is literally the head of the executive branch? That means that he is well within his purview to do things like fire agency employees and crack down on the southern border, which, along with the economy, were the number one issues for voters during the election, and also to put Elon Musk in charge of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to root out what will certainly turn out to be trillions of dollars of government waste, fraud, and abuse.

Currently, Donald Trump holds an 84 percent approval rating among Republicans. But that will not deter some on the left from giving it the old college try. MSNBC's Rachel Maddow recently claimed that "some" GOP voters feel that Trump's actions are "indefensible." She continued, saying that supposed Trump supporters are now "regretting" their vote and that “Republicans who can’t actually bear what Trump is doing.”
But then there are others who, as much as they hate to have to admit it, know that one by one, Trump is delivering on his campaign promises. They also like the pace at which he is delivering on those promises. Donald Trump knows he only has four years to accomplish everything he wants. If the 2026 midterm elections throw control of the House back to the Democrats, a giant wrench will be thrown into completing that agenda. He knows things have to be done quickly.
As more and more polls show how Americans are really feeling about Donald Trump, those Republicans who "regret" their vote are going to be harder and harder for the left to find.
