Yikes! 80K 'Dreamers' With Arrest Records Let in to US in First Five Years of DACA

As has become obvious in the last three years, Democrats have a soft spot in their hearts for illegal immigrants. Because after all, they are all just coming here for a better life, right? Never mind the human and drug trafficking and possible terrorists just walking into the country unchecked. But the one group of illegal immigrants they love the most are the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals or DACA recipients, those brought into the country illegally as children by their parents. Democrats will ramble on all day about how "innocent" they are. They might be innocent of the choice to enter the country illegally, but in many cases, they are certainly not innocent.

A new report from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) shows that we have been importing criminals longer than we think. Within five years of a program designed to prevent the deportation of those brought here illegally as children, almost 80,000 were released into the country with arrest records. The data also shows the majority of those Democrats like to call "dreamers" were between the ages of 19 and 22 when they were arrested. DACA includes those brought to the U.S. before 16 age and under 31 years of age as of June 15, 2012.

USCIS records show that 888,818 people sought DACA status, and 765,166 were approved. Of those, 79,398 were approved with prior arrest histories, roughly 10 percent of the applicants. There were some denials or terminations of DACA status totaling 77,833, of those, 30,132 had arrest records, about 38.71 percent.

So, what sorts of offenses were these "dreamers" arrested for? It is quite an impressive collective rap sheet. It includes 13,000 arrested for immigration-related civil and criminal crimes, 8,000 nabbed for theft and larceny, roughly 7,000 for drug-related offenses, 4,200 for DUI, 3,400 for battery, 3,300 for assault, and 3,000 for obstruction, fabrication, or false claims. But the most standout offense: a whopping 25,300 for driving-related crimes excluding the DUIs. Get off the sidewalk.

Of course, all of these arrests are not 80,000 different people. There are quite a few law enforcement frequent flyers in the bunch. The report shows that 41 of those granted DACA status were arrested more than ten times, 963 had been arrested at least five times, and 15,482 had been arrested at least twice. Following the 19 to 22 age group, those aged between 23 to 26 and those aged 15 to 18 were the most frequently arrested. The majority of the offenders entered the country from Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Brazil, and Peru.

The USCIS report data is just another reason why voters think that Donald Trump will do a much better job on immigration. A Real Clear Politics poll shows that Biden is not just underwater when it comes to immigration but drowning. He is at a 60 percent disapproval rating when it comes to the border. A recent CBS/You Gov poll showed that 62 percent of registered voters favor a mass deportation program, like the one Trump says he would implement if reelected. That includes 53 percent of Hispanic voters.

What's Joe Biden's answer to all this? Apparently, it is to, as usual, ignore what the American people want. On Tuesday, Biden signed an executive order that accelerates a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants who are married to an American citizen, the child of an immigrant, or have been in the U.S. for over ten years. The executive order could affect more than half a million people. This came after what was supposed to be a "crackdown" on asylum seekers attempting to enter the country between designated ports of entry. It hasn't worked. Biden's executive order came ironically on the twelfth anniversary of DACA, which had twice been ruled illegal by a federal judge. What also has been going on longer than we think, is Joe Biden ignoring court rulings.

Americans are becoming more outraged by cases like Laken Riley, Rachel Morin, and the case of a 13-year-old New York City girl raped in broad daylight by an illegal immigrant recently. But thanks to Joe Biden, sadly, there might be plenty more.
