You have to admit, sometimes watching Democrats floundering about in full-blown Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is just plain fun. It is even more fun when someone pokes them, and their already raging case of TDS goes into overdrive. They have no clue that in their zeal to "get Trump," they are doing the exact opposite. 

A CNN panel recently got a heavy dose of reality from fellow Trump hater and pollster Frank Luntz. Most Trump supporters are no fans of Luntz. But love him or hate him, based on recent events, what he is saying has a very good chance of happening.

Luntz appeared on a CNN panel about the possibility of New York Attorney General Letitia James seizing former President Donald Trump's assets to pay a $464 million bond in his Civil Fraud case filed by James. Luntz did not hold back on his predictions of what could happen politically for Trump should the seizing of those assets begin. Luntz bluntly stated,

"If the New York Attorney General starts to take his homes away, starts to seize his assets, it's all going to be on camera, pundits are going to sit there and scream about this, and you're going to create the greatest victimhood of 2024. You are going to elect Donald Trump."

Luntz also brought up the fact that each time Trump was indicted, his poll numbers went up. He went on to say that any seizure of Trump's assets or possessions would give Trump the ammunition to say it is proof that:

"the federal government, the establishment, and the swamp in Washington, and all the politicians across the country, and the Attorneys General, and all of this, that this is a conspiracy to deny him the presidency. He's going to go up in the polls, just like he went up every single time they indicted him...Do not forget that."

Luntz went on to say that opposition to Trump was "completely misguided" and that James' potential seizing of Trump's assets was "a perfect example."

As a pollster, Luntz knows what voters are thinking because he studies it. He went on to ask a rather rhetorical question, saying: 

"Why is Donald Trump beating Joe Biden when he's got 85 indictments? Felonies? Trump is leading, and in the seven swing states, Trump is up by the margin of error in five out of seven; why is that happening?"

Luntz is well aware that any video footage of authorities seizing Trump's properties or possessions cements what many Americans are feeling about their government, that the prosecution and attempts to put the chief political rival of the party in power in prison give off all the characteristics of a third world banana republic, especially when there is no clear crime having been committed in this case. He knows that it has many Americans concluding that "If it can happen to Trump, it can happen to me."

It appeared that at least one person at CNN realized that watching authorities padlock Trump Tower would not be a beneficial campaign strategy for Joe Biden. He claimed to have spoken to someone "in Trump world," who essentially said, bring on the asset seizure video, knowing full well that it would do nothing but repeat the rise in poll numbers Trump experienced after each indictment.  

If CNN is trying to call off Letitia James, you know that they know just how bad things are for Joe Biden. The panel mentioned poll numbers in swing states. Donald Trump is ahead in every swing state — by as little as 0.5 percent in Pennsylvania and as much as 5.4 percent in Arizona. Americans are still dealing with things like high inflation and soaring crime rates. Add to that a video of illegal immigrants overtaking Texas National Guard troops at the southern border. There have to be some Democrats in a dark room somewhere who know all too well just how right Frank Luntz is.  

As of Friday, Trump claimed he had the cash on hand to pay the bond despite his attorneys claiming he would be unable to pay it. But here is a question: Should Letitia James get the seizure of assets video she clearly wants, will the Trump campaign be forced to count it as an in-kind campaign donation? 

Trump should just hire some squatters to go sit in his properties.
