America was shocked at the horrific, needless death of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley at the hands of an illegal immigrant. Sadly, Laken Riley is not the first innocent American to lose their life because of someone who should never have been in this country in the first place, and she will not be the last. Joe Biden and the Democrats have no interest in securing the southern border. The way they look at it, if some Americans are injured or killed so we can import a new crop of Democrat voters and well, that's just a bit of necessary collateral damage.

Five days before Christmas, 2023, and just one day before his twelfth birthday, Travis Wolfe was riding in his family's Jeep in North St. Louis County, just outside of St. Louis, Missouri, when a minivan driven by 33-year-old Endrina Bracho, going the wrong way, slammed into the Wolfe's Jeep head-on at around 70 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour zone. Travis's parents were taken to a local hospital, suffering from broken wrists, broken ribs, and a broken sternum. Bracho's two children also suffered injuries and were taken to St. Louis Children's Hospital. Travis Wolfe was also rushed to St. Louis Children's Hospital and put on life support. Travis never woke up, and on March 6, was taken off life support and passed away. 

Car accidents happen all the time, but this one was entirely preventable. Why? Endrina Bracho is in this country illegally from Venezuela. Currently, she is charged with first-degree involuntary manslaughter, second-degree assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, all felonies, and operating a vehicle without a valid driver's license, a misdemeanor. She is being held in the St. Louis County Jail on a $500,000 bond. 

Sgt. Scott Schnurbusch was one of the Hazelwood, Missouri police officers at the scene and said he saw the two vehicles, both of which suffered heavy front end damage and deployed their airbags. Schnurbusch gave a disturbing summary of what happened, saying:

1,700 feet is quite a big distance to travel at over 70 miles an hour on a 40-mile posted road. That’s a long way to travel in the wrong direction and not realize.

We know about Laken Riley, and now we know about Travis Wolfe. But there are many more victims of Joe Biden's open border policy. At the State of the Union Address, Biden had to be heckled into saying Laken Riley's name, and then when he did, he mangled it. He has also not reached out at all to Laken Riley's family. It is no doubt a pretty safe bet that Joe Biden will not be saying Travis Wolfe's name or reaching out to his family, who are still recovering from their injuries. That would mean he admitting that his border policies are a nightmare and taking some iota of responsibility. In September of 2023, just three months before the collision involving the Wolfe family and Endrina Bracho, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), deemed the US-Mexico border to be the deadliest land migration route worldwide on record. Great job, Joe. 

Another curious detail is the fact that local media has not given this story much coverage. Is it because this woman is illegal? There is no way to prove that, but it is a valid question. On a personal note, the location where this crash happened is roughly five minutes from where I live. It could have been someone I know who I love and care about. It could have been me. No matter where you live now, you live in a border community. Think there couldn't possibly be any illegal immigrants coming into your area? Think again, they are already here.

Travis Wolfe never got to celebrate his twelfth birthday. He should be alive today, thinking that girls have cooties and eagerly awaiting the next hockey game his beloved St. Louis Blues would play. Travis Wolfe is just more collateral damage for Joe Biden and the Democrats. How much more of that collateral damage is acceptable?
