Leak of Navy Investigation Info on Outspoken Biden Critic TX Rep. Jackson Has Curious Timing

There is an old saying that "timing is everything." There is nowhere else that is more true than in politics, and especially true in an election year. This year, the Democrats are in trouble, and they know it. Their primary problem is how to convince the American people that President Joe Biden is a fit and vibrant 81-year-old when there are multiple reasons to question whether that is true. There have been more than a few calls for Joe Biden to take a cognitive test, and so far, those have been slapped down. Now, there is new information coming to light about one of Joe Biden's most outspoken critics that should have Republicans asking "Why now?"

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) is a 24-year Navy veteran who reached the rank of Rear Admiral before he retired. But information about a Pentagon Inspector General's report from March 2021 reveals that there were credible allegations of inappropriate behavior regarding Jackson, including "making sexual and denigrating statements" about subordinate female members of the White House medical staff, consuming alcohol inappropriately with subordinates, and taking Ambien, a sleep drug while he was on duty as the president's physician.

The recommendation in the Pentagon Inspector General's report was that the Secretary of the Navy take action on the case, but a Navy spokesman will not comment on Jackson's current rank or whether he had been demoted, as was first reported. Jackson has denied the allegations and says they are "a political hit job." Jackson added:

“If I had retired and not gotten into politics, this investigation would have never gone anywhere. This was happening because I am a perceived threat to the Biden administration and because a few political appointees in the Department of Defense want to make a name for themselves.”

Ronny Jackson became the White House physician in 2013 at the behest of former President Barack Obama, who personally requested Jackson to be his physician. He went on to also be the personal White House physician for former President Donald Trump until 2019 when he ran for Congress. So, why are the details of this report being revealed now? While being a staunch Trump ally is certainly reason enough, there may be a bigger reason for the timing.

Ronny Jackson has become one of the most vocal critics of Joe Biden, not just for his policies, but for his obvious health issues. Jackson was sounding the alarm on Joe Biden's cognitive decline as far back as 2020. it cost him a friendship with his former patient, Barack Obama. In 2023, he stated that:

"It's a grueling job, both mentally and physically. This man can't do the job. He's proven to us every single day that he can't do the job, but this is going to get worse."

But it was the further damaging description of Biden's mental capacity that came from special counsel Robert Hur's report in early February, who said that Biden could not remember the years in which he was vice president or, within a few years, when his son Beau died that heightened discussion of the issue. Jackson has also strongly suggested that should Biden become the Democrat presidential nominee, before the Democrat convention this summer, he should submit to a cognitive exam. But Jackson didn't stop there. He also said:

“He doesn’t need a [cognitive] screening test. He needs an actual cognitive battery of tests, objectively done, put on paper, and briefed to the American people by his physician.”

The fact is that Biden has not had an event in the recent past where there has not been some sort of what appears to be a mental episode. And with Biden set to give the State of the Union speech Thursday night, quite frankly, all eyes will be on him not only for the contents of the speech but whether or not he will get through it without having what looks like a brain freeze. The timing of the leak of the Jackson investigation information would seem beneficial to Joe Biden — what better way to damage the credibility of the loudest voice saying that Joe Biden is not cognitively all there?

Ronny Jackson is not talking about anything the American people have not seen for themselves and will continue to see as Joe Biden's condition only gets worse. But the scariest part, America's enemies see it, too.
