As RedState wrote earlier, Secretary of State Marco Rubio made a speech at the State Department as part of an international forum meant to foster cooperation in fighting networks of far-leftist groups allied with rogue states worldwide.
My colleague Ward Clark wrote:
On Thursday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a stark warning about the rise of left-wing violence. Speaking at a State Department function attended by at least 60 delegations from other countries, Secretary Rubio spoke about the rise of far-left political violence and the need to adopt counter-terrorism tactics to combat it.
Among the groups coordinating with foreign terror networks is Antifa, Rubio said.

@SecRubio:
"Antifa militants and their comrades travel from across Europe and to the Americas to participate in each other's attacks, to funnel propaganda and training, materials, and target information through shared encrypted channels — moving through underground networks of safe houses, and finance and sustain their operations through transnational funds. And they work alongside hostile foreign states that share their mission."
One example he gave was Iranian proxy networks, then he highlighted how Cuba's leftist regime's "sprawling intelligence and ideological network helped to build the far-left in our country."

Now, the State Department has taken two new actions to shore up this battle against the transnational terror networks. On Thursday afternoon, Sec. Rubio designated two more Mexican cartels as "Foreign Terrorist Organizations and Specially Designated Global Terrorists":

Today, I designated two additional Mexican cartels, the Juárez Cartel and Los Viagras, as Foreign Terrorist Organizations and Specially Designated Global Terrorists. Under President Trump’s leadership, we will never stop fighting against violent narco-terrorists from flooding our nation with deadly drugs.

The second move was to add new restrictions on visas, to keep members of leftist terror groups - or anyone who provides support to them - from entering the U.S.
Today, @StateDept is imposing new visa restrictions to bar Far-Left Terrorists from entering our country.

Foreigners who finance, incite, or aid and abet Far-Left Terrorists are enemies of our civilization. They are not welcome in the United States.https://t.co/Xnc1dqMAHd
