As the days pass, we keep learning more about the evils perpetrated during the four years of the former President Joe Biden era at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Conservatives are no strangers to the winding roads paved by the leftists relating to how parents were treated at school board meetings, employees were threatened to comply with government-mandated COVID vaccinations, among other actions, and it's been part of the mission of the Trump 47 administration to set things straight as quickly as possible.
This week, we have started to get details on that previous Justice Department's concerted plan to prosecute Christians, something that Kayleigh McEnany, host of Fox News' "Saturday in America," asked Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche about during a sit-down on Saturday morning.
She opened the segment by saying her program's team had spent "the past 24 hours digging through a 565-page report" by the DOJ's Anti-Christian Bias Task Force.on the vast enterprise by the Biden Justice Department to target Christians across the country:
“It was much more than just a rogue agent. It was much more than just a field office or a prosecutor. It was actually a systematic culture issue at the Department of Justice to target Christians.”

Among the findings:
- Prosecutors considered charging religious leaders of a congregation containing a "criminal target" of their investigation
- Special agent in charge of one field office encouraged a colleague to ignore FBI Dir. Christopher Wray testimony rescinding a department directive on "investigations based of religious affiliation"
- IRS denied tax-exempt status for a Christian group because "[B]ible teachings are typically affiliated with the [Republican] party...."
McEnany added that at the same time, the Justice Department "was receiving dossiers from pro-abortion groups, tracking prolife activists, and sometimes their minor children."
As my colleague Ben Smith wrote earlier this week, Senate Oversight Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) shared some texts published in the report, showing Biden prosecutors salivating over investigating...nuns:
Biden-era federal prosecutors privately discussed targeting Catholic nuns for prosecution simply because they attended a January 6 rally, according to internal Justice Department messages released through a Senate oversight investigation.
The DOJ, in addition to dropping the new report this week, indicted a former top aide to Dr. Anthony Fauci for obstructing the investigation into COVID's actual origins in Wuhan, China.

During the interview, the host asked the Justice Department official "when you see this on so many fronts, could this have been rogue prosecutors, do you think it came from [then-AG] Merrick Garland, do you think it came straight...from the president?"
Blanche says that it was like a massive spiderweb, stretching "beyond the Department of Justice" under Joe Biden.
“It was much more than just a rogue agent. It was much more than just a field office or a prosecutor. It was actually a systematic culture issue at the Department of Justice to target Christians.”

He confirmed that what McEnany said was right, calling it a "systematic culture within the Department of Justice...to target God-fearing Americans, and what we found in that very deep, substantial report was that it was much more than just a rogue agent, it was much more than just a field office or a prosecutor."
In another clip of the interview, while calling the possible violations of Americans' First Amendment rights outlined in the report "deeply disappointing," Blanche confirms that it stopped under President Trump on Day One.
Thanks @KayleighMcenany for having me on @SatAmericaFNC this morning. What our Anti-Christian Bias Task Force uncovered is deeply disappointing— evidence that the Biden DOJ targeted Christians and people of faith. President Trump made clear on day one that this would change, and… pic.twitter.com/Zp4XBGThoM

Blanche said the "issue" that was rotting the Biden administration DOJ from within sought to "target Christians, to target people based on their religious beliefs," but that's over now.
