AG Bondi Is Not Finished Reminding Americans What Dems Are Trying to Distract Them From

Earlier on Wednesday, a veritable fireworks display went off during Attorney General Pam Bondi's appearance during a congressional hearing on the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein—and as my colleague Bonchie wrote, Democrat lawmakers were ill-prepared for Bondi's quick flashes of righteous indignation over how the other side of the aisle chose to behave.

Among the Dems who bore her ire was Rep. Jamie Raskin (MD-8), who along with Rep. Jerry Nadler (NY-12) was just one of many participants in the Nonsense Olympics they were putting on. Raskin injected himself unhelpfully (I invite you to see Bonchie's piece for the video and full transcript). But it was Nadler, whom AG Bondi called out several times for outrageous "theatrics," using his alloted time for making a "four-minute question" that he did not even want Bondi to answer.

His plan, she avered, was that the clock would run out before she had time to make a cogent reply--a scheme that was aided of course by the fact that he kept interrupting her.

The Dems are simply trying to distance themselves from their own serious problems, and distract the American people from the damning facts. And Bondi was not done blasting them, not by a long shot.

First, the attorney general shared the fact that the Trump administration is overseeing a rallying Wall Street in the wake of its economic policies, which reached a record in recent days--and used the opportunity to needle a potential problem for Raskin on alleged insider trading:

Here's what Bondi may be referring to. According to a NASDAQ report, in May 2025 alone, Raskin made $1.4 million via stock trades. His estimated net worth (circa June 2025) is $6.4 million. Remember that he makes about $174,000 annually as a congresscritter.

Next, Bondi whipped California's Ted Lieu (D-36) soundly over the slew of failures he and his fellow Democrats have wrought on the citizens there, including dangerous sanctuary city policies that let criminal illegals terrorize every day Americans at will. It's just one more thing they and Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) would prefer we don't bring up:

Rest assured, readers. We will keep talking about what they are doing—and sometimes, just as importantly, not doing through some of the most consequential elections we will see in our lifetimes, including 2028.

Nadler perhaps had the energy to bloviate with his four-minute-question/filibuster during the hearing because during one of his Democrat colleagues' opening statements, he was doing this:

To be fair, Nadler has announced he's retiring after nearly 30 years. It doesn't excuse what we have seen from media and their Dem pals, though. Ever since Pres. Trump returned to the White House, leftists have been floating attacks seemingly once a week, trying to make him out as feeble or mentally out of it. Will we get similar commentary about Nadler's fitness to remain in office? Readers don't need me to answer that question, I reckon.

If there's a more fitting metaphor for the achievements of the Democrat Party on behalf of the American people ahead of the midterms, I don't know what it is. Their other big issue is they can't decide which opinion on the Epstein files is the most anti-Orange Man Bad, so they have been stuck taking both sides, like the radical Minnesota "Squad" member was here:
