This week has been full of red letter days for conservatives and parents in our thriving movement that cherishes traditional values and the freedoms handed down to us from the Almighty.
One of those days was Tuesday when Massachusetts, a deeply blue state, signed on to what—to most of America—sounds like simple common sense: allowing parents who are not subscribed to the gender ideology espoused so strongly by the Left to raise foster children as their own. It took a lawsuit by a nonprofit group to set things straight for two worthy couples, as my colleague Teri Christoph wrote on the move. But it's still positive to see change happening.

On Tuesday, all that changed when the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF), which oversees the state's foster program, announced it would no longer require couples to sign the policy after learning from its federal regulator that the requirement was unconstitutional.
This change of heart by the DCF comes after the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of two Massachusetts families who were deemed ineligible to foster because, due to their Christian beliefs, they would not sign on to the state policy requiring them affirm gender ideology.

Another day (Thursday) saw Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the Health and Human Services (HHS) Department announcing its ban on the use of medications and "mutilation" for children and adolescents that leftists call "gender-affirming care."

Under the Trump administration, the federal Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has been digging into the problem of life-altering, irreversible "transgender" treatments conducted on children. On Thursday, HHS chief Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Dr. Mehmet Oz, Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, announced a federal crackdown on these practices.
We know, and the Left knows that we know, what they are up to with "transgender care" when it comes to kids. It isn't care in any way, but grotesque manipulation; it's a bridge too far, and dangerous experimentation on some of the most vulnerable in our society.

Why the Left Will Never Stop Virtue Signaling
There was one other incident, related to the HHS change, and it points to a sad reality for Democrats in Washington.
Rep. Sarah McBride (the representative for Delaware's at-large congressional district) decided it would be dignified to start spouting off in front of media after the announcement. You can watch the video for yourself below, but what I see is a conniption worthy of consideration with the most insane sort of performance art.

Notice something? McBride does not make the distinction between adults and children in trans ideology. That ongoing message from Democrats, something they can't or won't let go of, is going to doom their future gains with most American parents. Adults, for most conservatives, can live their lives as they please. Children are not adults, and cannot make the same life choices as adults.
When we keep the GOP in charge of the WH, and both houses of Congress, and the American mood continues to go toward truth and godly living, then the Democrats cannot keep up their charade that being against transgender for minors counts as "bullying" or "harmful." It's simply a lie they keep telling to anyone who will still listen. Luckily, those numbers are becoming more scarce as time goes on.
