Anyone who's been following President Donald Trump's time in politics knows that his interviews tend toward the grab-bag variety, jumping from commenting on serious policy issues and current events, to giving his honest opinion on celebrities and what's happening in pop culture. Since it's something he's skilled at doing, that likely isn't going to change anytime soon.

Earlier on Sunday, we brought you a few advance clips of Trump's pre-Super Bowl sit-down interview with Fox News' Bret Baier, in which he talked to the "Fox News Sunday" anchor about how proud he is of the swift work of the Department of Government Efficiency and Elon Musk, and keeping the promises he made on the campaign trail to gut wasteful spending in the swamp of Washington, D.C.

But there was more in the full interview that aired during the Fox pre-show for Sunday's big game. As an icebreaker, Baier asked him why he decided to attend this year's Super Bowl, becoming the first sitting president to do so. Trump's initial reaction was one of surprise, as he said he'd "assumed many presidents" had attended before, then added that he thought it "would be a good thing for the country," as it takes on "a whole new life" with the start of the new administration.

Then Baier asked him to reflect on how the 47th presidential term differs from his first time in the Oval Office in 2016:

That truly ties in to the later questions about DOGE, and Trump's level of trust in Musk and others on his new team this time.

There was also a question that is sure to garner the ire of Canadian President Justin Trudeau, on whether Pres. Trump is serious about Canada becoming America's 51st state;

Finally, in one of those off-the-cuff answers we've come to expect from Trump on pop culture, he talked about Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' MAGA-loving wife, Brittany--then gave his prediction on who he thinks will win the game:
