On Thursday afternoon, former president and GOP presidential nominee, Donald Trump spoke at a rally in Potterville, Michigan, with the theme of how he would improve the economy and bolster American manufacturing, while working to reduce skyrocketing inflation. There were a few other topics on the docket, as usual, with him dropping one surprising bit of news.

One of the few policies Democrat presidential nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris has revealed is the wrongheaded plan to impose a massive tax increase on the American people:

He also talked about the economy during his four years in the White House, and replacing NAFTA with a new agreement with Canada and Mexico:

Directly addressing workers, Trump said that "[their] long economic nightmare" will end, if he and his running mate, Senator JD Vance (R-OH) are elected in November:

He promised to cut Americans' energy costs by half, by focusing on beefing up domestic energy production:

In one part of the remarks, Trump said, "You're going to end up in World War 3....We have nobody running our country," with VP Harris "no good," and President Joe Biden sleeping; in fact, Trump said he would go back to calling him "Sleepy Joe," instead of "Crooked Joe":

He referenced the new story on Thursday, on the Venezuelan gang that has taken over apartments and committed robberies of multiple gun shops in Aurora, Colorado (the Denver area).

In some breaking news, the former president announced that under a new Trump administration, either the federal government or someone's insurance will pay for IVF treatments, adding that parents will be able to deduct the costs of "major newborn expenses":

As he wound up the speech, Trump mentioned that the general election does not start on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5th; North Carolina begins mailing out mail-in ballots on Sept. 6th. That's next week.

Meanwhile, people have already started lining up for a second Trump rally on Thursday, this one in Wisconsin later tonight:

We'll keep you posted.
