The Biden-Harris White House continues to "both sides" the term antisemitic when the entire left flank of their party marches outside this week's Democrat National Convention in Chicago, chanting "From the river to the sea" and similar antisemitic rhetoric.
Early Thursday around midnight, Republican presidential nominee, former President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social account to talk about the Democrat National Convention appearance on Wednesday by one of the Kamala Harris vice presidential also-rans, Democrat Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro.
He wrote:
"The highly overrated Jewish Governor of the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, made a really bad and poorly delivered speech talking about freedom and fighting for Comrade Kamala Harris for President, yet she hates Israel and will do nothing but make its journey through the complexities of survival as difficult as possible, hoping in the end that it will fail. Judge only by her actions!"

Bright and early on Thursday morning, a reporter asked the governor to comment on the post. He seemed happy to oblige:
Gov. Josh Shapiro responds to Trump’s attack on Truth Social, referencing his Jewish identity:

“Donald Trump is obsessed with me and obsessed with continuing to spew hate and division in our politics. He's someone who has routinely peddled antisemitic tropes like this.“ pic.twitter.com/moYjHcV28T
If you can't read or watch the clip in the post, he said, "First off, I think it's clear over the past few weeks, Donald Trump is obsessed with me and obsessed with continuing to spew hate and division in our politics. He's someone who has routinely peddled antisemitic tropes like this."
He continued, attacking Trump's endorsement choices in Pennsylvania races, then bringing the narrative back to his own remarks during Wednesday's Democrat National Convention programming. He then claimed he talked about "the polar opposite":
....[R]eal freedom, bringing people together, accepting folks no matter what they look like or where they come from, who they love, what they believe--saying, 'This is the place for you!' That's diametrically opposed to everything Donald Trump believes--and it's clear he's going to continue to be the hateful, divisive person that he's always been.
This is not unlike the speeches former President Barack Obama, his wife Michelle, and others have given so far at the DNC. But there's no need to cite them, when we can see Gov. Shapiro's definition of "bringing people together" from his speech:
Democrat Josh Shapiro: "It's not freedom to tell our children what books they're allowed to read!"

Unity!
The media has also taken part during this election cycle to spew antisemitism in Shapiro's direction, remember, as RedState's Bonchie shared about one of Jake Tapper's shows at CNN.
It's unclear whether the White House put out the talking point or Shapiro's team did, so I'll just go with the WH picking up the baton from Shapiro, and running with it on Thursday morning. Politico dutifully transcribed their attack:
The White House on Thursday issued a fresh condemnation of antisemitism after former President Donald Trump referred to Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro as the “highly overrated Jewish Governor” and criticized him for supporting Vice President Kamala Harris.
In a statement Thursday morning, White House spokesperson Herbie Ziskend called it “Antisemitic, dangerous, and hurtful to attack a fellow American by calling out their Jewish faith in a derogatory way, or perpetuating the centuries-old smear of ‘dual loyalty.’”
It seems that the Democrat Party, in addition to not knowing what a "woman" is, also doesn't know how to spot antisemitism. Because this isn't it. Shouting anti-Israel slurs? Yes. Expressing the belief that Israel shouldn't exist, like Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran? Definitely. The sad fact is no matter how badly the left would like people to forget former Pres. Trump's monumental Abraham Accords, Americans' memories are long. They'll hopefully remember stunts like Shapiro's for exactly what they are in November, too.
