As RedState shared in the past hour, all is not well with the social media messaging coming from Team Nikki Haley on Sunday. Either the former South Carolina governor and 2024 Republican presidential candidate, or one of her campaign staffers in charge of comms, made a major fail on a post:
Social media can be a dangerous place for clueless politicians who lack self-awareness. Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who is running for the GOP presidential nomination learned this the hard way on Sunday.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Haley, or a member of her staff who needs to be fired, wrote: “12 fellas down. 1 to go.”
Here's that post (which, as of 7:21 p.m. EST, is still live on X):
12 fellas down. 1 to go.
— Nikki Haley (@NikkiHaley) February 18, 2024
But in the wake of the massive influx of Twitter-X trolling over that ill-advised tweet, another X user noticed that even stranger things were afoot on the account:
DEVELOPING: A Nikki Haley staffer using Tweetdeck (now X Pro) for the first time just scheduled all of Haley’s posts for the week to drop within the hour. We are on 26 tweets in less than 40 minutes. pic.twitter.com/A1Rtdq6D5D

Above the tweets, they wrote:

Whoever is using the Tweetdeck/X Pro for her (whether it's their first experience with it or not) has messed up even more, with a marathon of simultaneous posts within an hour, as the alert X user wrote, with a week's worth of Haley messaging burned through.
There appeared to be a perfectly normal campaign event post under Haley's handle about six hours ago. Then there were ... well, when I had a chance to personally count them up, they numbered 22. The live scrolling video in the post by "Bad Hombre" has more -- leading me to surmise that someone in social was alerted about the problem and deleted about 11 of them; the deleted tweets came after the weird one about her male competitors for the GOP presidential nomination.
But the internet, as they say, is forever:
Something is not quite right, as you can see for yourself; whether it's a newbie, or tech error on the X platform's part, is unknown as of the time of this writing. But this is a bad look, on top of the post about the "guys."
As this is a developing story, you all know the drill. We'll keep you posted on any updates.
