DeWine Holds Ohio Governor's Seat for GOP

Just minutes after the polls closed in Ohio, a winner was announced on who will sit in the governor’s mansion of one of the most critical states going into 2024. The electoral battle was between Republican Governor Mike DeWine and Democrat Nan Whaley.

Decision Desk has projected that incumbent Republican Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine will hold the governor’s seat in the Buckeye state.
