According to Indianapolis-based news website Fox3Now and other local outlets, there has been a shooting at Greenwood Park Mall in Indianapolis, Indiana, with two people reported killed and two injured, after an initial report of an active shooter in the mall.
According to local officials and witnesses, police and other emergency services are currently responding to reports of a gunshot at the Greenwood Park Mall near Indianapolis. The gunfire reportedly resulted in injuries. The shopping center has been placed under lockdown, but information are still scarce.
On Sunday around 6 p.m., police were called to the Greenwood mall because there was a “shooter on the loose.” Not right away, people didn’t know much about how the shooting happened.

The bomb squad is on its way to the mall to look into a suspicious backpack that police found there.
Officials told the outlet that one of those shot was the suspect, although no further details on the suspect’s condition were provided.
