You've Lived to See the Day: Walmart Removes Guns for Fear Mobs Will Loot Stores and Shoot People

Where are we headed after November 3rd?

According to evangelist Pat Robertson, it’s this:

“After Trump is sworn in, we’re going to see civic disobedience in our America that will just be mind-boggling. The country will be torn apart. … [I]t’s going to be horrible. Because already, without anything happening, we’ve got trouble in the streets.”

We could certainly be in for difficult times. Hence, the absolutely stunning dash of people to purchase firearms and ammunition.

If you’re wondering how passionate potential pistoleers and recent riflers are, consider the phenomenal firearm sales surge the last several months.

Or better yet, just go online…anywhere…

And try to buy bullets…of any kind.

It’s slim pickin’s as — admittedly amid the production problems of a pandemic — the citizenry hurries to America’s gun counter.

But one store doesn’t want to take part if that rush is riotous.

You’ll soon see: From the looks of it, the largest retail chain on the planet — Walmart — will have withdrawn from the gun game.

Perhaps they’ve been watching Pat Robertson.

The Wall Street Journal reports:

Walmart Inc. has removed all guns and ammunition from the sales floors of its U.S. stores this week, aiming to head off any potential theft of firearms if stores are broken into amid social unrest.

As noted by The Daily Caller the retailer’s concerns are related to rage:

[Walmart] removed the items off the shelves in case there are any riots that could lead to stores being looted and lead to the possible theft of firearms.

For stores everywhere, looting potentially looms — as of late, it’s a particularly prominent response to items in the news. Just take a look at Philadelphia earlier this week, in the wake of the tragic officer-involved shooting death of Walter Wallace Jr.:

To be clear, Walmart will still be selling the products.

But nothing will any longer be on display.

A spokesperson explained to TWSJ:

“We have seen some isolated civil unrest and as we have done on several occasions over the last few years, we have moved our firearms and ammunition off the sales floor as a precaution for the safety of our associates and customers.”

In a Wednesday letter to store managers, the big W asked employees to take down their weapons “due to the current unrest in isolated areas of the country and out of an abundance of caution.”

And all because mobs may overtake giant stores and steal the guns.

Did you ever imagine in your lifetime there’d be such a concern?

2020’s been quite the year.

And the worst may be yet to come.

The Caller relays, “A USA Today/Suffolk University Poll found 3 out of 4 Americans are concerned there could be some form of violence on Election Day.”

Buckle up, folks.

Chaos may be days away.

Stay safe, RedStaters.
