She Won't Give Up: Threatened by Bernie's Potential Massachusetts Manhandling, Warren Trashes the Competition

Amid a primary extravaganza, Elizabeth Left-Hook Warren is taking a swing at Bernie Sanders.

Liz put up her dukes Saturday against both Bern and South Carolina champ Joe Biden.

As per Houston’s ABC13, here’s what she had to say to supporters in Space City:

“Americans must ask themselves: Who do you trust to actually run this country? Donald Trump has already shown he’s not up to the task.”

He has?

I’m not sure that’s the right angle to take. How about, “My policy ideas are better, and here’s how”?

Oh, well.

The senator went on to address the “public health and economic effects of the Coronavirus,” and dang — she shredded Bernie:

“This crisis demands more than a senator who has good ideas, but whose 30-year track record shows he consistently calls for things he fails to get done, and consistently opposes things he nevertheless fails to stop.”

Kinda takes me back to the days of this:

She ain’t havin’ none of it with Joe, either:

“This crisis demands more than a former vice president so eager to cut deals with Mitch McConnell and the Republicans that he’ll trade good ideas for bad ones.”

And bonus — a dump on Bloomberg:

“This crisis demands more than a billionaire mayor who believes that since he’s rich enough to buy network airtime to pretend he’s the president, that entitles him to be president — and whose track record as mayor shows he’ll govern to protect himself and his rich friends over everyone else.”

Hmmm… We’re in a crisis that demands more than Bernie…and something bigger than Biden…and a whole lot more than Michael…

So who could be up to taking care of us all?

Oh, here it is; thank God:

“My campaign is built for the long haul.”

Perfect!!!!

Could Elizabeth be right on Bernie’s heels?

The Daily Wire makes a case:

[R]ecent polling conducted in Massachusetts shows Sanders leading the field, by margins as high as eight points and as low as two points. In the three most recent polls, Warren is in second place.

That would be Massachusetts, Warren’s home state.

As per Politico, Bernie’s a creepin’:

Sensing an opportunity to deal a serious blow here to his top progressive rival, Sanders has events planned across the state in the final days before the primary, starting with the Worcester festival his campaign has taken to calling “Berniepalooza.” He will hold a rally in Springfield on Friday, the largest city in Western Massachusetts, followed by a rally on the Boston Common on Saturday.

Back to Liz, the verbal shanking seems like a good way to insult her way out of a potential spot as VP.

But this is the way of the primaries: Someone in Elizabeth’s place reaches a point where they can try to cozy up to the likely winner and hope for a seat in Robin’s cart attached to Batman’s motorcycle, or they can attack everyone relentlessly and go for the Gold.

I guess Warren — who hasn’t won a single state primary — is more of the “blaze of glory” type.

Gutsy. I like it.

Let’s get our popcorn and see how it all plays out.
