A Helmeted Gunman Overtook a Store to Rob It. Thanks to an Armed Customer and a Lot of Bullets, Boy Did It Not Go the Way He Planned (Video)

Last month, we saw an absolutely incredible act of calm heroism as a church security man stopped a bad-guy gunman with the power good-guy arms (read more on the horror at the West Freeway Church of Christ here):

Well, there’s a new video in town.

We don’t have a lot of information on the incident.

[Not a lot = None]

But here’s what the security footage shows:

A group of people are in line at what looks like a clothing or department store when they start exiting the area like swimmers out of the water after the fin was spotted in Jaws.

One shirker of the shark: a dude in a shortsleeve yellow shirt.

The crowd skeedaddles past the flip flops.

And in walks Jabber Jaws.

One thing of note: Just before he bails, Sir Yellow Polo briefly pulls up the bottom of his shirt. Was that a moment of decision?

Back to Jaws: A gunman walks into view wearing a motorcycle helmet. He appears to put his pistol in his pants and go behind the counter to cash in on his crime.

But then, Life is a Beach: Yellow Guy comes back with both hands around the grip of a gun, firing repeatedly at the robber.

Glass breaks. A monitor falls to the floor.

Several seconds pass, and still no more sign of Mr. Motorbike.

Obviously, it’s not always the right decision to open fire on a felon in a public place.

However, as some tragic events over the last several months have reminded us, if the threat isn’t neutralized, innocents may pay the price.

One thing’s for sure: The guy in the helmet liked it none.
