It’s been said that, if guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.
But sometimes it doesn’t matter — if an outlaw approaches you with a gun, just take his.
That’s exactly what a homeowner in Texas did Tuesday, when a no-good, gun-totin’ crook tried to rob him.
Just before 3 p.m. in the Westbury neighborhood of Houston, the male suspect entered the would-be victim’s garage and told him what’s what — the thief was gonna get away scot-free with stolen property — and there was nothing that could stop him — on account of his deadly threat of a firearm.
But then, something happened, as reported by local ABC13:
Police say the homeowner was in his garage when the suspect approached him and said it was a robbery. That’s when police say the homeowner managed to get the suspect’s gun and shot him.
It seems to me there’s a definite market for handgun wrist straps for robbers.

Because of this:
Could it be the same guy?
If so, there’s not much likelihood of mistake #3:

As I noted recently, not every crook went to Harvard.
(Although some did)
So even though Beto wants to disarm you, against some who deal in the dark arts of criminality, all you need are your actual arms: Just reach out and do some stealing yourself.
Take that gun, courtesy of the goofiness of your attacker.
Give him a bit of this:

Oh, sorry — AR-15’s aren’t used in most crimes.
But you get the idea.
