This Feb. 28, 2018 photo released by ABC shows Meghan McCain on the set of “The View,” in New York. McCain brings a feisty spirit to the conservative commentator role where predecessors frequently seemed overmatched and overlooked. She often reflects the views of President Trump’s supporters at a table and city where they are deeply unpopular. (Lou Rocco/ABC via AP)
Meghan McCain isn’t exactly shy when it comes to saying what she thinks.
On November 5th, I covered the daughter of late Sen. John sharing her opinion on Rand Paul: “I hate him.”
That was in response to Rand’s position toward the Ukraine whistleblower:
“The whistleblower needs to come before Congress as a material witness because he worked for Joe Biden at the same time Hunter Biden was getting money from corrupt oligarchs. I say tonight to the media, do your job and print his name!”
On Friday, the View co-host had more flames to throw, this time at political operative Roger Stone.
Following a guilty verdict on seven charges — those being one count of witness tampering, one count of obstruction of an official proceeding, and five counts of false statements — Meghan took to Twitter in order to sound off on the throwback to Russian Collusion Mania.
I give you simplicity:
Rot in hell, Roger Stone.

She certainly got some blowback:
You have so much hate and resentment in your heart

I find it incredibly sad. I feel so sorry for her. Can’t imagine carrying that type of hate.

Some brought up her father:
So, an aide to John McCain went to Europe, got the dossier, delivered it to John McCain and McCain then delivered it to Comey. That is not a good thing. So I would caution you on tweets like this. Hate within yourself will destroy you, not the person you hate.

And there was even this ugliness:

As pointed out by The Daily Caller, it’s not the first time Meghan’s wished fire and brimstone on someone: Last year, she had a similar attitude toward former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, saying he should “rot in jail and then he should rot in hell.”
Of course, the blonde assassin’s not a big fan of Donald Trump in general, surely not unrelated to the bit of bad blood between him and her dad.
In fact, she offered some unkind words in March, after Donald tweeted the following:
Spreading the fake and totally discredited Dossier “is unfortunately a very dark stain against John McCain.” Ken Starr, Former Independent Counsel. He had far worse “stains” than this, including thumbs down on repeal and replace after years of campaigning to repeal and replace!

Cue Meghan:
“He spends his weekend obsessing over wonderful, great men because he knows it, and I know it, and all of you know it: He will never be a great man.
…
“And I just thought, ‘Your life is spent on weekends not with your family, not with your friends, but obsessing, obsessing, over great men you could never live up to.’ That tells you everything you needed to know about his pathetic life.”
Fortunately for Roger Stone, he’s likely not worried over Meghan’s disapproval, as he’s got some bigger things to deal with: Although first-time offenders usually receive lower sentences, the maximum penalty for his crimes totals 50 years in prison.
The issue of hell is, in my view, another matter entirely. But as for rotting, he could end up doing a bit of that in federal lockup.
Trump’s nominated some alternative candidates:
So they now convict Roger Stone of lying and want to jail him for many years to come. Well, what about Crooked Hillary, Comey, Strzok, Page, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, Shifty Schiff, Ohr & Nellie, Steele & all of the others, including even Mueller himself? Didn’t they lie?….
