On Tuesday, MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace blasted Fox News host Laura Ingraham and her panel — law professors Alan Dershowitz and John Yoo — like they were in a schoolyard kickball game: She called ’em “chickensh**.”
Nicolle had played a montage of clips revealing Fox News peeps and GOP officials questioning Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman’s loyalties — he’d been set for a Tuesday testimony as part of the House Dems’ impeachment inquiry.
Nicolle’s vignettes — which she derided as a “smear campaign” — featured Ingraham serving up the following:
“Here we have a U.S. National security official who is advising Ukraine while working inside the White House apparently against the President’s interests, and usually they spoke in English. Isn’t that kind of an interesting angle on this story?”
Professor John added, “I find that astounding, and, you know, some people might call that espionage.”
Nicolle clucked around and squatted over it, then released this:
“Except those people aren’t chickensh*t like the three of you, and they know he passed a background check that the President’s daughter and son-in-law didn’t.”
Former Ambassador to the United Nations Nick Burns — a guest of Wallace’s — goodlorded:
“Did you just say what I think you said?”
Oh, well. What are your thoughts about the video?
As for the general idea of MSNBC accusing Fox News of fouling up, I see no reason to keep this out of the discussion…here’s a little bit of the ol’ context:
