Racism used to mean “Judging someone solely according to their skin color.”

Now it seems to simply mean “Anything involving race.”

Is the same happening with sexism?

On Monday, Democratic strategist Emily Tisch Sussman sprung onto MSNBC Live with Craig Melvin to let everyone know why folks — Democrats, mind you — could prefer Bernie Sanders over Elizabeth Warren.

In case you’re wondering, it’s not because they believe Warren can’t beat Trump; it isn’t due to the notion that Bernie has superior policy positions; and it sure ain’t discrimination against an American Indian (here).

Lo, the reason people will pull the lever for the man who had the balls to call Baltimore “a Third World country”…is because of that very anatomical possession.

Presently, a poll shows Elizabeth on top of the Democratic heap (here).

Emily explained that people are just lovin’ anybody who can take out that terrible guy in the White House:

“I think that it shows that there’s a steady incline…what people care about is they want to know who can defeat Trump. That is the most important thing to them. And so, the people in Iowa are – they’re doing their retail politics; they’re seeing all of them speak. People really are showing up at these big events to see different candidates, to see if any of them appeal to them, any of them resonate – but ultimately [at the end of the] day, people in Iowa are looking at the same polls that people all over the rest of the country are looking at, and they want to know if anybody pops. So I think that Warren has had a slow increase, but we’ve also seen other candidates have a slow increase.”

She noted the competition on the Democratic side’s tough this time around.

Yet, the former campaign advisor believes some people still stickin’ to America’s rich Uncle Bernie are just doing so because he’s not a woman.

Craig asked, “Has [Bernie] peaked?”

Take it way, Emily:

“It does feel that way. It feels like Warren is pulling together a coalition of people, particularly women and also people of color, who liked Hillary Clinton. I think in all of our talking…we act like there’s nobody who actually liked her. There are, in fact, people that liked her. And so, she is in many ways pulling a lot of that support, but also pulling a lot from Sanders, and Sanders is still in the race. What we’re seeing of his supporters is there’s a ceiling, there is nowhere to go, there is no up to go, and all of those who – I actually overheard someone saying [what] I thought was an interesting point, that basically, at this point, if you are still supporting Sanders as opposed to Warren, it’s kind of showing your sexism because she has more detailed plans, and her plans have evolved. I thought that was an interesting point, and I think there may be something to it.”

Among Democratic voters, is Bernie so macho, people just can’t let go? Or is it that any old dude is better than a dadgum female?

You may not want to mistake Emily for someone with their pulse on America — apparently due to a powerful bubble, “every one [she] know[s]” supports Elizabeth Warren:

Do “more detailed plans” and “evolved” plans equal a better candidate?

Sounds iffy.

But either way — as I’ve written previously — Elizabeth can in no way beat Donald Trump:

[A]s surely many would agree, Donald Trump against the mild-mannered Democrat in a no-holds-barred debate will be like Dracula fighting a mosquito — they may both technically be out for blood, but one will just step on the other.

That’s not sexism; it’s just the reality of a monstrous competitor vs something less beasty.

He’ll eat her detailed, evolved lunch. Real macho-like.
