And Another One: A Woman in Florida Attacks an Immigration Facility with a Molotov Cocktail

On Friday, a woman was arrested for an alleged attack on a Department of Homeland Security immigration facility.

With a Molotov cocktail, no less.

According to The Associated Press, the lady walked into the lobby of Oakland Park’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office and tossed the gasoline-filled bottle.

Fortunately for everyone inside, the fuse came disconnected from the bottle.

Acting Director of Citizenship and Immigration Services Ken Cuccinelli tweeted his shaking head over the ordeal:

“Today’s attempted attack on one of our USCIS facilities using a Molotov cocktail is another example of the use of violence in place of debate by those who oppose the proper application of our immigration laws. This is the 2d attack on a DHS facility in 2 months using a Molotov cocktail. Violence has no place in our society. Thankfully, no one was hurt today. We’re grateful to our security guards & the law enforcement officers of FPS who apprehended and arrested the assailant.”

Officials believe the attempt at terrorism and a July attack in Tacoma Washington (here) are unrelated.

The woman — Cellicia Hunt — was handcuffed by security officers and taken into custody by Federal Protective Service. As indicated by court records, she was charged with maliciously attempting to damage or destroy a government building by fire.

On Tuesday, the 35-year-old will appear in a Fort Lauderdale federal court.

She’s not likely to get off the hook — the whole incident was caught on video.

Surely some will attribute the insanity partly to the far Left’s increasingly extreme vilification of America’s immigration workers.

Ultimately, of course, Cellicia’s responsible for her own actions.

But if you incite craziness, the crazies will be incited.

This isn’t likely to be the last we see of such an attempt, and it’s only a matter of time — if similar madness continues — before innocence are very seriously harmed.
