Ben Carson has a message: Donald Trump is not a racist.
Since Trump tweeted a message to congressional left-wing freshmen over the weekend encouraging them to “go back” to where they “came from,” Democrats have been calling racism on The Donald with particular fervor.
But Ben knows the guy:
“I have an advantage of knowing the president very well, and he’s not a racist and his comments are not racist.”
Speaking to FNC’s America’s Newsroom, Dr. Carson explained that the Fab Four — Alexandria Oasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar — don’t appear, to the President, to love their country. Hence, his Twitter post:
“[H]e loves the country very much and, you know, he has a feeling that those who represent the country should love it as well.”
As a reminder, here’s what the Commander-in-Chief served up:
So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly……

….it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!

But could it have been a genius move? Some think so — just see here.
According to Ben, not only is America’s favorite eccentric New York billionaire not a racist; he’s actually helped minority communities:
“Look at his policies. You know, under this president, you see the rising tide lifting all boats. You see low unemployment…record-low for blacks, for Hispanics…for all the demographics of our nation.”
He’s right about unemployment — although the ladies at The View wouldn’t give him Trump credit (here).
Ben praised Trump’s support for “Opportunity Zones.”
Here’s more about that, courtesy of the Economic Innovation Group:
The Opportunity Zones incentive is a new community investment tool established by Congress in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 to encourage long-term investments in low-income urban and rural communities nationwide. Opportunity Zones provide a tax incentive for investors to re-invest their unrealized capital gains into dedicated Opportunity Funds. Read more below about how the Opportunity Zones incentive works, as well as its history and community of supporters.
Ben loves ’em:
“What’s happening in some of these places is just astonishing. And talking to some of those people there…they say, ‘I didn´t think this could ever happen.’ And just a couple of weeks ago, the President signed an executive order establishing a council on eliminating the barriers to affordable housing. Who’s going to benefit from that? So when you have somebody who’s spending this much time and this much effort trying to elevate those who are vulnerable and who are suffering in our society — I think we should pay a lot more attention to what they are doing than what anybody is saying.”
Will the mainstream media listen to the brain surgeon? Not likely. They don’t seem especially interested in what pro-Trump racial minorities have to say.
Speaking of, if you’d like to hear much more from some black Americans who don’t mind The Donald — and, in this case, are more than just a little suspicious of Bill and Hillary — I recommend you check out this video. But beware: There’s a lot of objectionable language.
