Much has been said about Georgia’s fetal heartbeat bill, which — according to HuffPost — Gov. Brian Kemp is expected to sign (You can get a nifty primer on the Hollywood protest, courtesy of yours truly, here). And one entertainer involving herself in the legislation is Alyssa Milano.
She took it upon herself to head up a boycott:
I will be supporting the women of Georgia as we stand in solidarity for all women’s rights and hand deliver the below letter to Brian Kemp at 5pm EST this evening. I will broadcast live here on Twitter. #WeWontGoBack pic.twitter.com/gcZqlrW2kB

It should be noted that — over the last year or so — Alyssa seems to have taken upon herself the task of solving America’s problems. Be they enforcement at the border or due process for Brett Kavanaugh, she’s on it (here, here, here, here, and here).
And due to her pro-abortion maneuvering, there’s been a bit of a dustup between former Samantha Micelli and the film Unplanned (see Twitter’s banning of the pro-life project here). On Breitbart News Tonight, the movie’s star — actress Ashley Bratcher — took Alyssa to task:
“As you know, Alyssa Milano has this very loud voice in Hollywood, and she’s very outspoken about where she stands on women’s reproductive rights, and she called for the film industry to boycott Georgia. Well, I happen to be a proud Georgian who is pro-life, and I support this Heartbeat Bill. … What was really kind of disturbing to me in [Alyssa Milano’s] letter was that it was really more concerned with tax incentives than it was with the sanctity of human life. I just felt like it was kind of self-motivated.”
Another person not diggin’ Alyssa & Crew’s politickin’ is Abby Johnson, the focus of the based-on-a-true-story flick:
On Friday, Abby got fire. She told Alyssa and her “tiny bun,” essentially, to shut her pie hole (but personally, I like her tiny bun). Or else, Abby says, see the movie Unplanned to have an understanding of what abortion actually is:
I’m hoping that @Alyssa_Milano will muster up the courage to go see the @UnplannedMovie. If you are willing to advocate for abortion, but unwilling to actually see what you support, then you and your tiny bun really have no relevancy in this conversation.

WHOA.
The tweet’s racked up close to 30,000 likes, with over 8,000 retweets.
And why would the movie allegedly enlighten Milano? Because Abby worked for Planned Parenthood. As per her website:
During her eight years with Planned Parenthood, Abby quickly rose through the organization’s ranks and became a clinic director. However, Abby became increasingly disturbed by what she witnessed. Abortion was a product Planned Parenthood was selling, not an unfortunate necessity they were fighting to decrease. Still, Abby loved the women that entered her clinic and her co-workers. Despite a growing unrest within her, she stayed on and strove to serve women in crisis.
All of that changed on September 26, 2009 when Abby was asked to assist with an ultrasound-guided abortion. She watched in horror as a 13 week baby fought for, and ultimately lost, its life at the hand of the abortionist.
So the challenge lingers. Will Alyssa see Unplanned? Could it change her mind?
We shall see.
In the meantime, catch Unplanned at a cinemaplex near you. And if you have a choice of liquorice, go for Twizzlers. Red Vines are gross.
