Blind as a Bat: You Won't Believe What Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Claims She's Never Seen

What do you do when you’re a bartender who appears to know and understand nothing — and we’re really talking nothing, from the Greek meaning “no thing” — about economics, governmental systems, legislation and its impact, or any other topic relevant to holding office — and suddenly are elected to the highest lawmaking position in the land?

If you’re 29-year-old congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, you complain about a lack of prosperity.

Yes — it’s that dumb.

Here’s a staggering quote from Time’s Thursday praise of the economics minor/cow fart fighter (here and here):

“An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity. I have never seen that, or experienced it, really, in my adult life.”

Oh boy.

Alexandria may wanna check out other parts of the planet. Something along the lines of comparing the Chinese upper class to the American lower class.

Or perhaps she should consider the fact that impoverished households in the U.S. on average contain…well, I’ll let The Heritage Foundation spell it out, courtesy of poverty data from the Census Bureau:

  • 80 percent of poor households have air conditioning. In 1970, only 36 percent of the entire U.S. population enjoyed air conditioning.
  • 92 percent of poor households have a microwave.
  • Nearly three-fourths have a car or truck, and 31 percent have two or more cars or trucks.
  • Nearly two-thirds have cable or satellite TV.
  • Two-thirds have at least one DVD player, and 70 percent have a VCR.
  • Half have a personal computer, and one in seven have two or more computers.
  • More than half of poor families with children have a video game system, such as an Xbox or PlayStation.
  • 43 percent have Internet access.
  • One-third have a wide-screen plasma or LCD TV.
  • One-fourth have a digital video recorder system, such as a TiVo.

That was from 2011, when Alexandria was around 20 — the beginning of her “adult” life.

Since AOC’s never known prosperity, she of course is here to provide it.

How does she accomplish that? According to her Green New Deal, she grants — via the taxpayer’s burden — “guarantees to everyone … economic security to all who are unable or unwilling to work.” Ya know — the key to prosperity.

Time gushes:

Ocasio-Cortez represents one vision of the Democratic Party’s future. She’s a young Hispanic woman, three cornerstones of the party’s electoral coalition. She’s a democratic socialist at a time when confidence in capitalism is declining, especially among progressive millennials. The issues she ran on—a Green New Deal, Medicare for All, a federal jobs guarantee, abolishing ICE—are animating a new generation of Democrats. She’s a political phenomenon: part activist, part legislator, arguably the best storyteller in the party since Barack Obama and perhaps the only Democrat right now with the star power to challenge President Donald Trump’s.

Challenge Donald Trump??

Here’s the Time story’s author on the Twitter:

Right. ‘Cause socialism brings da money:

Thanks To Left-Loved Socialism, Venezuela Sees Children Selling Sex & Straight Men Selling Gay Sex.”

Live long and prostit– I mean, prosper.
