Remember when President Trump called the El Salvadorian gang MS-13 “animals” and your Democratic friends and family members — who only know what they hear on CNN and MSNBC — thought The Donald was an inhumane piece of garbage? Or remember when some of my friends thought that? If not, just pretend you do.
Well, it’s anecdotal perhaps, but here’s a reason for those peeps to reconsider.
In Maryland, police say five MS-13 members stabbed a fellow member, took the body to Stafford, Virginia, and set it on fire.
The victim has been identified as 16-year-old high school student Jacson Pineda-Chicas.
What remained of him was found on the side of the road a day later.
29-year-old leader Jose Ordonoez-Zometa has been charged with the murder.
According to authorities, Jose and the victim, along with other suspects, drove to a home in Landover Mills, Md., for a meeting on March 8th.
Things didn’t go well for teenage Jacson — he was stabbed over 100 times.
Major Brian Reilly seemed to second that “animals” motion:
“To hear somebody was stabbed 100 times, per the medical examiner, pretty much speaks for itself how violent the attack would have been.”
Authorities have yet to determine why Jose was murdered.
However, as reported by NBC 4 Washington, his mother claims he’d told her he was being threatened due to his expressed desire to leave the gang.
Fox News states:
The woman, who was not identified, told the station that when his gang pals accused him of talking to cops, they threatened to kill his family. He told them to kill him instead.
She explained that he took weapons to the meeting:
“He had to take knives to defend himself, and screwdrivers. He had razors and he told me, ‘Mom, I’m going to defend myself with them, but it’s not going to be enough.'”

The woman said her family fled El Salvador due to pressure on her son to join the gang there.
So…100 times. Is that “animal” enough?
To be clear, I don’t believe everyone who’s in MS-13 — or any gang — is an animal; some may be in because they’re forced to be. Others, because their older sibling is. Or other family members. But animal is as animal does.
The media are constantly framing Trump as calling black white and wrong right. But upon removing the partisan lens, he says many right things. And many things right.
