HUH? Don Lemon on Jussie Smollett: It Was 'Not His Fault'

The Jussie Smollet situation is a mess.

The actor concerned with living “truly” (see the video at the bottom of this article) was, it appears, all about the opposite of truth when it came to an egregious letter followed by an inflammatory megaMAGA assault (here, here, here, and here).

Guilty parties:

  • Jussie Smollett and his faked persecution
  • The media and their lack of verification of said persecution

But not to Don Lemon — he seems sour on the idea. Therefore, the people at fault are…NotJussie.

Here’s what he had to say on CNN:

“In the court of public opinion, Jussie has lost. He’s lost the fight in the court of public opinion. … It matters. And he lost that because of how — and not his fault. Maybe people were — I don’t know what they were saying to him. Maybe because of his representatives? Who knows?”

NOT HIS FAULT????

Who knows??

According to reports, the Empire actor got together with two other guys and conspired to create a phony letter threatening death (viewable on this page), to be promoted publicly. He then arranged for those two dudes to attack him. Involved were racial and gay slurs, ominous chemicals, and a noose for hanging.

How in the world could it not be his fault??

To guest Joey Jackson, Don posed the deeply probing, “You think it’s his fault? You think he was doing what he wants?”

I’m gonna take a shot: Yes.
