Hollywood Actor Calls the GOP -- and YOU -- 'the KKK'

Actor Ron Perlman — star of Hellboy, Pacific Rim, and the television hit Sons of Anarchy — doesn’t like you.

Previously, I covered the fact that Ron’s, well, let’s say, exuberant about his political views, while at the same time being clearly uninformed. Oh — and he’s insulting, too. What’s the word for that?

Anyway, here are a few examples:

That photo was, you may remember, not a photo of what was happening at the border. It was, in fact, from a staged protest:

Ron’s back to jumping to conclusions of racism again, about…you. If you’re a Republican.

The star took to Twitter Monday in response to the recent Steve King controversy, wherein the Iowa representative was quoted by The New York Times thusly:

“White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization — how did that language become offensive? Why did I sit in classes teaching me about the merits of our history and our civilization?”

As reported by Fox, King later tried to explain the quote:

“[I was referring] ONLY to Western Civilization and NOT to any previously stated evil ideology ALL of which I have denounced. My record as a vocal advocate for Western Civilization is nearly as full as my record in defense of Freedom of Speech. … I will continue to point out the truth and work with all the vigor that I have to represent 4th District Iowans for at least the next two years.”

High-ranking Republicans condemned King’s statements; so Ron took to the internet with this:

“Hey Kevin McCarthy! Ted Cruz! Steve Scalise! How dare you suddenly start condemning the Nazi that is Steve King when you’ve been cheering him on for his entire embarrassing career! You are the KKK party. Own it muthaf—as! And one more thing…F*** YOU!”

Ron ain’t known for his self-control when it comes to calling people racist. Just check out his performance last June:

And then:

He could’ve learned a lesson from that — maybe evil crazy racist intention isn’t everywhere.

But I guess not.

He said he’s a “D List” actor; maybe the “D” stands for…I don’t know — what do you think?
