Given the abject insanity of the Kavanaugh hearings — in which the Left have raged over the boogie man of evidenceless claims — it’s to be expected that the maverick Leader of the Free World is gonna have a thing or two to say.

Enter Donald J. Trump, flaming in a press conference like a radical doomsday evangelist preaching the unfettered gospel to an unrepentant Ninevah.

Well, at least the Donald Tump version of that.

On Wednesday, the President lambasted Democrats for “destroying a man’s reputation.”

Trump called assertions from Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez “false accusations,” lamenting the tarnishing of “one of the highest quality people [he’s] ever met.”

Furthermore, directing his comments to the press, he said Democrats find the circus of chaos around Brett Kavanaugh comical. Moreover, Trump said the Left’s ploy to devastate a man’s life hasn’t concluded.

“They’ve destroyed a man’s reputation, and they want to destroy it even more. They know it’s a big, fat con job. I guarantee you they laugh like hell at what they pulled off on you and the public. They laugh like hell. Laughing, how they fooled you all.”

Considering the obviously egregious nature of the media’s portrayal of Kavanaugh — let alone the mischaracterization by Democrats at the highest level — how might the midterms be affected? Trump believes the impact won’t be what the likes of Schumer and Pelosi are hoping for:

“And they want to destroy [his life] even more. And I think people are going to see that in the mid terms. What they have done to this family, what they have done to these children. These beautiful children of his. And what they have done to his wife.”

He explained that false allegations are a particularly personal thing to him:

“I’ve been a famous person for a long time. When I see it, I view it differently than someone at home watching television. … It’s happened to me many times. I’ve had many false accusations. … I was accused by — I believe it was four women…who got paid a lot of money to make up stories about me.”

The Donald also blasted ‘this other con-artist, Avenatti,” who, just days ago, trumpeted big, big news of Kavanaugh being a gang rapist — a situation about which he seemed to almost immediately backpedal (please see his initial claims here).

Revealing a bit of the death of objective journalism by way of a biased question (with a skin-curdling tone), a reporter pressed:

“You have daughters — can you understand why a victim of sexual assault would not report it at the time? Don’t you understand?”

Trump pointed out, “I only say this: thirty-six years…no charge, no nothing.”

The reported fought for his party’s side:

“But that happens often.”

How would he know????

The President continued:

“This could go on forever. Somebody could come and say, ‘Thirty years ago, twenty-five years ago, ten years ago, five years ago, he did a horrible thing to me.’ … And honestly, it’s a very dangerous period in our country, and it’s being perpetrated by some very evil people…because some of them know that this is just a game that they’re playing.”

Sounds right.

The Left is ravenous. And no one on the right is safe from their viciousness. It’s a disturbing time. Donald Trump is keenly aware.

“If we brought George Washington here, and we say this is George Washington, the Democrats would vote against him.”

I can imagine that.

Personally, I’m glad to see Kavanaugh standing his ground. At stake is not only his future, but the future of any conservative hoping to make a difference in Washington one day.
