Appeals Court Rules in Favor of Transgenderism in the Military

Good news for Chaz Bono, should she want to enlist: on Wednesday, an appeals court ruled against the White House, upholding a court order pausing a ban on transgender men and women in the armed forces.

Victory for the Left! By…

…the evil court that instituted family separation (see the explanation of that here), thereby tearing children from their mothers (the ironic, left-wing reaction to which is seen here, here, and here)!

The family separating, child-hating, actual entity responsible for child separation — the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit — upheld the block prohibiting Trump’s ban.

The result of this maneuver is that those identifying as transgender may continue to join the military until a trial expected to take place in April 2019.

If only Chelsea Manning’s military career (which I cover here) hadn’t preceded the advent of allowance.

Being that currently, women dressed like men and men dressed like women (how does that work, if everyone is issued the same uniform?) can join the service, the court ruled the White House’s stoppage of such “would upend, rather than preserve, the status quo.”

So, that means that any attempt to change what is, is overruled? Isn’t that the only reason to exert action in the first place? Therefore, anything Trump tries to “do” can be overruled because it does something to something which previously existed?

The whole military transgender issue began with Obama, when he instituted the permission of it (which surely disappointed Klinger from Mash). While that decision was still under review, in July 2017, Trump announced on Twitter that he wouldn’t let men-women or women-men serve “in any capacity.”

“After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you”

Not everyone was pleased, including Representative Don Beyer:

‘Those ‘tremendous medical costs’ Trump used to justify discriminating against American soldiers? @DeptofDefense spends 5x as much on Viagra”

The DoJ? Does Viagra go to the FBI, as opposed to the CIAlis?

Fortunately for the Left, who have repeatedly threatened to move to Canada, if Trump’s ban does ultimately succeed, there’s always this:

“Diversity is [their] strength.”

Lawsuits were filed in response to Trump’s move, one of which takes us to Wednesday’s ruling.
Trump’s attempt was revised earlier this year to a military ban on transvestites “except under certain limited circumstances.”

Yet, as for now, if you’re a man in a dress or a woman with a goatee, Uncle Sam wants you.

What do you think of the transgender issue with regard to the military? What do you think of Mash, which was nominated for over 100 Emmys during its 11 years of production (personally, I found it drab and unwatchable).
