The Far Left Ratchets Murder?

Social media can be a place of hate. And hatred, it seems to me, more often than not, comes from the side simultaneously preaching the virtues of tolerance and love. If only those words meant something to them.

Given the Left’s ever-growing vitriol since Donald Trump’s successful 2016 presidential bid, I fear there is no end in sight.

A few recent punctuations of the abject hypocrisy at best and extremely dangerous escalation at worst, are three incidents which aptly punctuate the state of things:

Number 1: Samantha Bee’s hideous insult to the President’s daughter for posting an image of herself with her daughter, at a time when the U.S. followed the law begun during the Clinton presidency and further interpreted by the left-wing Obama-era 9th Circuit Court of Appeals (read more on that here and here). Bee called Ivanka Trump a c-word, and I don’t meant cutiepie (I covered the story here and here).

Number 2: Peter Fonda’s dreams of child rape. Apparently, Hanoi Jane’s brother fantasizes about a 12-year-old boy in a room full of pedophiles, not to mention a naked women being beaten in a cage (note: the media haven’t minded). Please, if you have not already, read more about that here and here.

Number 3: California Representative Maxine Waters’s call upon all good citizens to harass and refuse service to those in the Trump administration. This was really incredible. Stay tuned for more. In the meantime, here’s Waters making a complete _____ (use whatever word you find most endearing) of herself Saturday:

“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere. We’ve got to get the children connected to their parents. We don’t know what damage has been done to these children. All that we know is they’re in cages. They’re in prisons. They’re in jails. I don’t care what they call it, that’s where they are and Mr. President, we will see you every day, every hour of the day, everywhere that we are to let you know you cannot get away with this.”
Waters was also referring to the Obama-era law being followed, which essentially means she had her head in a place I think we all agree heads don’t belong.
Here are two different clips:

Another “thing we know”: Maxine Waters needs a new sound man.

As a result of all of this extremely aggressive, and even violent, rhetoric growing among the media, the left-wing populace, and those in politics and entertainment, there has arisen a self-perpetuatingly increasing boldness. Sadly, all of this insolent, rising melodrama is the result of total ignorance: those who are angriest are also those who are dumbest.

Ask the most emotional radical what is wrong with Trump, and prepare to count the inaccuracies.

Which leads me to a tweet. From a girl. Just a girl. Just an average somebody. Not someone with power, necessarily. Not someone with influence beyond that of her own inner circle. But my suggestion is not that she is a cause, but rather, an effect. And if there are many others so infected, we are in trouble:

Is this where we are? Is this where we’re headed?

If so, in order to combat the coming deadliness of ignorance, we must fight with the weapon of truth. Before it’s too late.

Where do you think we’re headed with all this? Sound off in the Comments section below.

For something completely different, here’s my coverage of North Korea returning the remains of 200 U.S. troops.

For something else, here’s an article about a horse jockey who traded Fruit of the Loom for Hanes Her Way.
