The United Nations Security Council held an emergency session on Russia Tuesday at the request of U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May. The meeting regards the attempted assassination of a former spy on British soil using a chemical weapon.
Nikki Haley, the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. and the administration’s voice on this issue, did not hedge her speech even a little when calling out Russia. She matched the tone and certainty of the British government in her condemnation and in placing the blame.
Here is the short clip showing her calling it Russia’s crime.
Ambassador @NikkiHaley gets right to it, referring to the assassination attempt as "Russia's crime." #SalisburyAttack pic.twitter.com/4Zt9n9x2ic

But it’s worth watching her full remarks. She opens with “We’re here today to discuss the use of a chemical weapon by one council member in the territory of another council member.”
Then this:
Ambassador @nikkihaley "The United States believes that Russia is responsible for the attack on two people in the United Kingdom using a military grade nerve agent."

But watch the whole thing, seriously.
Well have more on this shortly.
