In today’s edition of “Oh no she didn’t, oh yes she did, oh that’s friggin hilarious” Sarah Palin, former Vice Presidential nominee, former Alaska Governor, former Mayor, and former beauty pageant contestant said today that Ted Cruz’s career is over.

I cannot overstate the fact that it was Sarah Palin who said this. It was very much Sarah Palin and not even a little bit someone dressed like her and doing a comedy routine, despite how it may seem. Tina Fey is good, but not that good.

She made the statement in an “Exclusive!” to Trump fansite Breitbart.com.

“Cruz’s broken pledge to support the will of the people tonight was one of those career-ending ‘read my lips’ moments,’” said Palin while we hope not wearing a shirt made of platinum toothbrushes but almost certainly while yelling insults at a television or dog.

She added this amazingly terrible sentence:

It’s commonplace for politicians to disbelieve their word is their bond, as evidenced by Cruz breaking his promise to endorse his party’s nominee, evidently thinking whilst on the convention stage, “At this point, what difference does it make?’

Palin’s current career, stumping for Trump in between what we presume is tending to a still of some kind, is hardly the stuff of legend. It seems odd that she would consider Ted Cruz’s career to be over, as he has yet to quit his job.

The former point guard then went on to continue not being a speaker at Donald Trump’s Republican Convention in Ohio.

Reminder: this convention found speaking slots for Scott Baio and Antonio Sabato Jr., whoever that is.

Truly her star is in ascension.
