Today is November 20th. On this date in 1923, Garrett Morgan received a patent for the first three-position traffic signal. The positions were “Stop”, “Go”, and “Undecided”. Today’s traffic signals use the more familiar “Stop”, “Go”, and “GO GO GO GO!!” Also, today is National Name Your PC Day, when computer owners across the land choose names to personalize their PCs, and Apple users have an “I’M A MAC” renewal ceremony to celebrate their collective.
