The West Freeway Church faced a horrible tragedy in which they lost two of their congregation in six seconds after an attacker pulled a gun and started shooting in the church.
The shooter was taken down by armed parishioners or many more might be dead. One parishioner who was acting as security, took him out with a headshot 3 seconds after he began firing. Police also say another parishioner hit the shooter as well. One of the victims appears to have been drawing but didn’t have enough time before he was hit.
Warning very disturbing and graphic.

You can see in this stunning video that someone broke down and isolated how many people pulled weapons and responded instead of running away after the killer began firing, and that’s just the folks caught on camera.

Then he said, “We lost two great men today, but it could have been a lot worse. I’m thankful our government has allowed us the opportunity to protect ourselves.” “There is evil in the world. Today is one sermon I will never preach,” Farmer continued. “Two men left a legacy.”
From Daily Caller:
Texas DPS Director Jeoff Williams took it a step further, saying that the congregants who charged the shooter had saved everyone else in that building. “The citizens who were inside that church undoubtedly saved 242 other parishioners, and that might get swept aside,” he said. “It was miraculous. The true heroes in all this are the people who were sitting in those pews today and responded, the immediate responders … it was truly heroic.”

Authorities also noted that the shooter had had “multiple” arrests in the past, which may mean he wasn’t able to legally buy a gun.
