Yesterday, we learned that special counsel Robert Mueller has impaneled a grand jury in Washington, DC, to hear evidence in the probe into allegations of collusion between members of Donald Trump’s campaign team and representatives of the Russian government. Now USA Today is reporting that he has another grand jury operating in Northern Virginia.

Russia special counsel Robert Mueller is using at least two grand juries — in Virginia and Washington, D.C. — to advance a wide-ranging federal inquiry into possible coordination between President Trump’s campaign and Moscow, a lawyer involved in the case said Friday.

As he investigates Russia’s interference in the presidential election, Mueller may continue to use multiple panels or eventually consolidate those efforts in Washington, where the special counsel’s team has only begun to use a grand jury in recent weeks.

But the lawyer, who requested anonymity to discuss the matter, said both venues continued to be active in recent days.

We’ve also been told that there was a Northern Virginia grand jury looking into some of Mike Flynn’s financial activities.

Experts in the article say multiple grand juries in not unusual when investigations cross jurisdictions.

One thing is for sure, someone is going to be indicted.

Paul Manafort’s multi-decade history of playing footsie with Russian mobsters makes him a prime target. Carter Page, who talked with FBI agents for 10 hours and professed to not be concerned because he was innocent, is another nearly sure bet–they are going to indict him just to avoid getting fired for time card fraud. Another sure bet is that none of the indictments will have diddly squat to do with Russian involvement in the campaign.
