President Obama made many promises about ObamaCare. And President Obama has broken many promises about ObamaCare.

He promised that if you like your current plan, you could keep it. He promised that ObamaCare would make healthcare more affordable.

Today, millions of Americans are finding out that’s not true. Their plans are getting canceled. Their premiums are increasing.

Democrats are unfazed and unconcerned about this. It turns out they expected this all along. But they need to hear from the families who are enduring the consequences of ObamaCare.

That’s why the RNC launched GOP.com/TellUs, where those impacted by ObamaCare can share their stories and even upload pictures of letters cancelling their coverage, pink slips from employers, or screenshots of healthcare.gov glitches.

We’ve already gotten numerous responses.

“My deductible went from $300 per person to $1,300 per person and weekly premiums have doubled,” writes Rachel R. from North Carolina. “Under ObamaCare, my family of three would have to pay $800 more a month.”

Cindy K. of Florida reports, “To keep my premium from increasing I had to raise my deductible to $5,000!”

Melissa A. in Texas says, “Not only have we lost our doctors because they’ve dropped plans due to rising healthcare costs, our insurance premiums at work for 2014 are now going up….”

Becky B. is also from Texas and has also lost her doctor. “My husband and I lost our family doctor two months ago,” she says. “We really liked him but he told us he could no longer afford to keep his office open due to ObamaCare.”

Charles B. in Florida, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2009, says, “My policy will no longer be available as of January 1, 2014. I have repeatedly attempted to sign on to [healthcare.gov] without any success.”

Tim S. says, “I’m 27 and in good health. In May I quit a full time job to start a business. I purchased high deductible insurance to cover me in case I have any serious health problems for $42 a month. Now it’s October and I received notice that I’m losing my insurance next year.”

The stories keep coming in. There’s the small businessman who provides his employees insurance but now has to figure out how to pay for the increased costs. And there’s the college student who lost his current plan and is struggling to find a new one he can afford while paying for college.

These are stories from real Americans. But listening to President Obama speak, you’d think none of this is happening.

Democrats and President Obama need to know what they’re doing to American families. They may not be willing to listen, but Republicans are. We’ll keep listening to Americans’ stories—and we’ll keep telling their stories.
