President Obama has been in screw you mode on his way out the door for weeks and now we’re getting to the last, flailing stage. As Jay wrote earlier, President Obama floored many when he commuted traitor Chelsea Manning’s sentence today.
Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R – WI) echoed what many are thinking.
Chelsea Manning's treachery put American lives at risk and exposed some of our nation's most sensitive secrets.

The precedent this sets is what makes this commutation so shocking and detrimental to our country. When treason is countenanced by a nation, it can’t be free for long.
Far from being in any way chastised by his actions, the White House is touting his sheer number of commutations as a success for his presidency.
With today’s 209 commutations, @POTUS has commuted sentences of more people than the last 12 presidents combined. https://t.co/t6Cs7NDPh0 pic.twitter.com/qirajGC1eH

Give us a break. Good news for deserter Bowe Bergdahl, a full pardon would hardly faze anyone at this point.
