Dem Candidate for Congress Wishes Death to MAGA, and the Internet Responds

I've reported on some of the wild reactions of Democrats to the House of Representatives’ passage of the Ukraine aid bill.

In addition to them waving Ukrainian flags on the House floor, you had Rep. Gerald Connolly (D-VA) claiming that the "Ukrainian-Russian border is our border" as though Ukraine was our 51st state. You also had Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) calling Ukrainians allegedly on the front lines telling them that they were voting on the bill. But these weren't our military, they're the military of a foreign country whose flag he was then waving on the floor of the House.

Apparently, at least one Democrat wanted to challenge Connolly to the worst reaction to all this, as our friends at our sister site Twitchy noted.

Nate McMurray is running for the Congressional seat in NY-26. But he still has another Democrat to face in the primary, state Senator Tim Kennedy. Kennedy is trying to get McMurray booted off the primary ballot by challenging the signatures on his petition to be on the ballot, claiming that some of them are invalid.

I don't think McMurray is going to help his chances even if he manages to stay on the ballot and win the primary with what he posted about Ukraine and MAGA supporters.

Sounds like a lovely fellow. Does he really think that this will ingratiate him with people in his area? Not exactly a desirable quality for which people want to vote. So much for "democracy" when you wish death on MAGA.

I think it's fair to say it didn't go over well. Many reported him to X but the post is still up.

This is the level of this guy:

Our own Buzz Patterson responded to this character. Patterson is a former Air Force pilot, White House military aide, carrier of the “nuclear football,” and bestselling author. This guy isn't worthy to hold his coat.

But McMurray decided he was going to try to insult a veteran as well.

Patterson naturally dispatched this lightweight.

By the way, all Americans lose when Democrats seem to put more focus on throwing our money away on another country rather than on our own, when they place that ahead of things like protecting our own border. Members of Congress are supposed to take an oath to defend our country. Democrats showed that they don't put Americans first -- but that's lost on this guy.

Here's how the local media described him: "McMurray has a history of seeking federal office."

Translation? Don't make your bets on this guy winning and he may have just stuck a further fork in his possibilities.
