I just saw this on TV a few minutes ago. Marco Rubio sent out a GREAT message – but who is listening… is the 18-25 year old group drinking, not wanting to work, smokin’ dope, and having babies they can’t support? NO. Or how about the women my age who have chosen to give up because being the mom and the dad is damned hard work? Too many people looking for easy. Life isn’t easy.

Was this the response to the President’s weekly radio address? If so it was a waste because no one listens to those things other than hardcore partisans who are not open-minded on who to vote for.

Speaking of hardcore partisans, I wonder how many of the nutroots / “progressives” (who all claim to love America) you could even get to come out in agreement with Marco’s basic assertion that America is the greatest nation in the history of the world? Not that “has the potential to be”, but that it already is, without qualifiers.

So people do see it. Add it to a blog. I think now is when many will finally start choosing who to support, now that the field has narrowed and the weak cut from the herd. Easier than doing your own research and participating (and I say that b/c at one time I was one of the people I’m talking about).

I’m very happy with our slate of of candidates (Angle, Miller, Paul, Buck) and I think they will make pretty good Senators.

However, this guy looks like presidential material right now or pretty soon. Did anyone see his new ad?

He’s damn good. Everything about his background and his message are perfect. It also doesn’t hurt that he’s extremely attractive and has that Presidential vibe written all over him. I’m hoping he has DeMint caliber principles and really turns his rhetoric into action in DC. *fingers crossed*.

(And yes – I’m working under the assumption that he’s going to win – positive thoughts!)

and he does an excellent job articulating the very simple, yet powerful truths about the economy with regards to the problem s inherent to the Liberal agenda’s negative effects on private sector job creation. Well done and keep up the great work. I have contributed to his campaign because all Senate races are now essentially national due to the massive impact of the federal government. Thank you Moe for posting this and helping promote Rubio.

I wish he could run for 2012, but he won’t have enough experience by then. Romney/Rubio would be an okay ticket, but Rubio is just a million times better than Romney, even if Romney is the smartest and most competent politician I know of. He’s also boring and too calculating for my liking.

I can’t listen to the guy for two minutes without saying, “WOW! This idiot is a congressman?”

thirty minutes, no teleprompter, no mumbling, no stumbling. His speech was organized and covered his platform very well. He talent for conveying his message is certainly a great attribute that will take him far in politics, as it did for Clinton.

So powerful, it’s likely that the Democrat establishment recognizes the futility of spending time and money on such a weak candidate (Meek) and will conduct a stealth campaign in Florida to elect Charlie Crist.

for months simply because even a sewage lagoon would be preferable to Orange Charlie. Imagine my soaring spirits when I see such a MAN defending America. As others noted above, I want to see what he does in the next 6 – 12 years, but at this point he most definitely has the scent of Presidential greatness about him.

Oh, and Mr. Hairball? Mr. Rubio just articulated why a Hispanic voter or, indeed, a voter of *any* ancestry, could (*should*) embrace the GOP . . . the party of opportunity, not condescending paternalism.
