Ingraham states that the pre-planned break is to be with her kids for their Easter break, but the leave of absence comes as she is under fire by Parkland survivor David Hogg and his supporters. A growing list of advertisers have pulled their ads from her time slot after she made disparaging comments about Hogg’s rejection letters from various colleges.
It is too soon to say whether or not Ingraham is in serious trouble at Fox News. While they have made no comment about the scandal at this time, the network has confirmed that the vacation was indeed pre-planned.
Editor’s Note: This piece has been edited to reflect that Ingraham’s vacation was pre-planned, with verification of that fact from the network.
