Video Surfaces of Justin Timberlake Lecturing Britney Spears on Alcohol After He Is Arrested for DUI

When the woes of celebrities lead the news cycle, you know that it's either a slow week or a distraction. With the fact that the legacy media is trying to gaslight the American people not to believe their lying eyes about a president who is non compos mentis, perhaps a bit of both. "Pop Prince" Justin Timberlake managed to catch the news cycle wave with a recent arrest for allegedly driving while drunk in Sag Harbor, New York.

Justin Timberlake was busted for allegedly driving drunk in the Hamptons early Tuesday after blowing a stop sign and swerving out of his lane — saying under his breath to the cop, “This is going to ruin the tour,” sources told The Post.

The “SexyBack” singer, 43 — who is in the middle of a world tour including with dates in the Big Apple next week — was pulled over in Sag Harbor, LI, just after midnight and charged with driving while intoxicated and cited for running a stop sign and failure to keep in his lane, court documents show.

He told arresting officers he had just “one martini, and I followed my friends home’’ — while refusing three times to take a Breathalyzer test.

A witness at the bar told The Post that the superstar singer was “wasted — and even picked up someone else’s drink from the table and downed it when its owner went to the bathroom.

“When [the man] came back, [Timberlake] was drinking his drink. “The guy goes, “Justin, that’s my drink!’’ the source said.

Guess Timberlake forgot all about this 2007 PSA he filmed, allegedly after his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears had her own addiction troubles.

Now who's gotten "sloppy?" Every outlet — including OK Magazine — has run with this story, and some have included thus far uncorroborated information about what exactly was in Timberlake's system besides the alcohol.

Timberlake — a married dad of two who has acknowledged previous issues with “excessive drinking” — attempted to pass field sobriety tests, which he failed miserably, according to court documents.

The singer, a former kiddie Mouseketeer on the “Mickey Mouse Club,” appeared in court later in the morning looking rough in a black baseball cap, gray graphic t-shirt with “Live Circuit” on it and black short-sleeve button-up and was released without bail.

He faces up to a year in Suffolk County jail if convicted of the DWI rap. But experts told The Post that sentence is highly unlikely because he has no prior criminal record — and that the charge will likely be reduced and Timberlake sent off with a $500 fine and 90-day suspension of his license in New York.

Sources said that before the debacle, Timberlake was “having dinner with a bunch of friends’’ at the posh American Hotel, where a standard martini go for $21.50 a pop at its “old-war bar.’’

The hotel is a 2-minute walk from the local police station.

Perhaps he was drinking to forget his latest video called "No Angels," which is rife with dark and demonic themes and imagery.

Timberlake has admitted to drug and alcohol use in the past but claimed that because of his need to maintain his squeaky clean image (at the time), he made sure there were no cameras around.

“I've done way too many drugs already. I've already inhaled and I've already ... who knows?” Timberlake tells the Brit magazine Observer Music Monthly. “I'm just like everyone else, I get completely plastered, I've done my fair share of drugs and I've been caught places with my pants down. It's just I make sure there are no cameras around.”

Timberlake, however, refused to discuss his relationship with Cameron Diaz, which is rumored to have hit a rough patch — allowing only he’s “not ready to settle down yet.” He was, however, quite forthcoming about his use of controlled substances, saying that because of his squeaky-clean image, he’s held to a higher standard than some rockers. “What I really think is that I've never done anything that bad,” he said. “I don't show up drunk to functions and the drugs I do have been in my own private time ... If Courtney Love shows up to a function it's like: ‘Oh that’s Courtney Love,’ but if I show up drunk it's like: ‘Oh my God.’”

Guess that ship has sailed. Whatever the demons now driving Timberlake (see what I did there?), he is not getting the "dark and troubled celebrity" sympathy usually poured out over such incidents. People are piling on hard and throwing Timberlake under the bus. As shown above with Courtney Love and Britney Spears, Timberlake has a history of doing the same, especially to women.

Timberlake has been married to actress Jessica Biel since 2012, but the Hollywood grist mill is rife with stories of his alleged cheating, even while they were still dating. In 2019, Timberlake was caught on camera canoodling with Alisha Wainwright, his co-star from the 2021 film "Palmer."

Timberlake made headlines after he and Wainwright, 30, were spotted looking cozy during a boozy night out in New Orleans on November 21. They discreetly held hands under a table at the Old Absinthe House bar on Bourbon Street, and the actress also placed her hand on the former ‘NSync member’s knee.

According to a US Weekly exclusive, Timberlake issued an apology because his wife insisted he take accountability.

In his Instagram apology on December 4, Timberlake acknowledged that he had “a strong lapse in judgement” after drinking “way too much that night.” However, he insisted that “nothing happened between” him and Wainwright.

“I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that,” he continued. “I am incredibly proud to be working on Palmer. Looking forward to continuing to make this movie and excited for people to see it.”

Timberlake also needed to divert from this negative publicity in order to take the heat off the film. He was fortunate that 2020 became the year where everything, including the entertainment industry, shut down because of COVID, so everyone had bigger fish to fry. Fans of R&B superstar and famous family member Janet Jackson are also reminding people of 2004's SuperBowl Nipplegate when Timberlake was a fast-rising talent who hitched a ride on Jackson's coattails to appear with her in the halftime show. Until the moment when he exposed Jackson's star-studded boob to a national audience, many of them children.

Viacom and the NFL demanded Jackson and Timberlake apologize. Jackson refused; Timberlake did not. When it came down to it, Timberlake wasn't going to back Jackson's play for an incident that really was his fault. Timberlake seemingly was more intent on his career trajectory than coming to the defense of a fellow artist.

Then there are the allegations from Britney Spears' 2021 memoir, including that Timberlake forced her to have an abortion.

From all appearances, it seems as though Justin Timberlake's carefully crafted image has officially crumbled, and Karma has come to call. Even if Timberlake is not the terrible human he now appears to be, he knows more than a few terrible ones. Timberlake has been cozy with disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein and disgraced and criminal hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs. The Bible says that bad company corrupts good character. But with this cast of characters, there is no telling who corrupted whom. In the meantime, Timberlake still plans to continue his tour with tickets at $5,000 a pop, the media continues to screech about deep fake videos, and Joe Biden continues to sell Americans down the river.

Move along, folks; nothing to see here.
