Trump's Hilarious Remark About a Bulletproof Vest Has Reporters Rolling in the Aisles

We're never going to have a contest on the subject, but President Donald Trump may just be the funniest person to ever occupy the White House. It's one of the reasons he resonates with people; he's just naturally relatable and open. And that might be why Democrats don't get it, because they largely have no sense of humor.

Data Analyst Delivers Some Astonishing Polling News for Trump and GOP

Is it any wonder people would leave them and not support how radical the Democrats have become?

Trump DOJ Vows to Enforce SCOTUS Ban on Racial Gerrymandering Nationwide—Obama Hardest Hit

By enforcing the Court’s colorblind standard, Trump's DOJ is pulling the rug out from under those efforts. Elections will be decided by voters rather than racial quotas and backroom map-rigging.

It’s a long-overdue correction. And it just might level the playing field a lot more come November

Trending Across Townhall Media

Bearing Arms — Everytown Hates the ATF’s Proposed Rule Changes

Everytown's "Senior Firearms Analyst" and editor of the group's Smoking Gun website Greg Lickenbrock claims the proposed rules "are clearly designed to benefit the gun industry," which is a big problem for a group intent on destroying that same industry.

HotAir — No, Iran Is Not Winning, and Yes, There Is a Strategy

Trump has the upper hand, not Iran. Thinking that Iran can win this assumes that the US cannot survive a closure of the Strait of Hormuz as long as Iran can. That is a very big and likely very wrong assumption.

PJ Media — Democrats Are Really Screwed Now

Every Democrat who endorses Platner endorses his bigotry… his antisemitism… his misogyny… his homophobia.

WHAT'S ON TAP?

Today on Capitol Hill...

It's a typical Friday in the Swamp — no meetings or hearings set, BUT...the critters did actually accomplish(?) some things on Thursday.

White House What's Up

President Trump has a busy Friday in store:

Keeping Up With the Cabinet

Sec. Education - Linda McMahon — McMahon recently shared how the Education Department is working to bring down the cost of college.

For decades, colleges and universities have driven up tuition—leaving students and taxpayers to shoulder the cost, often with little return on investment.

Today, 71% of graduates with student loan debt say they’ve had to delay or give up major life milestones like buying a home or starting a family.

American families live within their means—it’s time colleges do the same.

That’s why ED is taking decisive action to bring down the cost of college.

Full Court Press...

I need to play some catch-up on court rulings today, but we're continuing to see the effects of Wednesday's SCOTUS ruling in Callais. I expect we'll learn today whether or not the Court will grant the application to issue its judgment immediately.

COMING ATTRACTIONS

SCOTUS may be done with oral arguments for the term, but there are still 30+ opinions to be handed down before the end of the term — i.e., in the next two months — so expect those opinion days to start becoming more frequent.

MORNING MUSING

I give credit to the Secret Service and security personnel at the White House Correspondents' Dinner last Saturday who swiftly apprehended the would-be assassin and prevented anyone from being seriously hurt or killed. I'm thankful for that.

But it's a little hard not to notice, when watching the security camera footage, that the dog knew what was up here and pretty much got waved off, just seconds before this jackwad stormed the perimeter and started shooting.

Give that dog a bone!

LIGHTER FARE

Sneaky indeed!
