I don’t blame him, one bit.
TMZ recently caught up with actor Paul Sorvino (“Goodfellas” and “Law & Order”) to question him about his reaction to his daughter, actress Mira Sorvino’s revelation of sexual harassment by the disgraced Hollywood producer, Harvey Weinstein.
The actress claims that in 1995, while in Canada to promote the Woody Allen film she was starring in, “Mighty Aphrodite,” Weinstein lured her to his hotel room and sexually harassed her. Because she rebuffed his attempts, she claims he took revenge by basically blackballing her in Hollywood.
It’s a disgraceful tale, and one Sorvino, like many other women, feared telling. She found strength to come forward with the piece by Ronan Farrow in the New Yorker that basically opened the floodgates of women with stories to tell coming forward.
When the TMZ cameras caught up with Mira’s dad, he didn’t keep his language or tone politically correct. He spoke like any dad would, knowing their daughter had been so badly mistreated.
He also had a warning for Weinstein: You’d better hope you go to jail.
*Language warning*
I've been waiting for this….Paul Sorvino on Harvey Weinstein harassing and blacklisting his daughter Mira Sorvino….

I don’t know if Weinstein goes to jail for any of his attacks (several reports, some very recently, are of actual sexual assault and rape), but he certainly deserves it.
A few more mad daddies like Paul Sorvino and jail is probably the safest place for him to be.
