CNN's Chris Cuomo Tries Picking Fight With Ted Cruz on Women's Rights and Loses

While the Biden administration has been more than a bit wobbly on the idea of a federal coronavirus vaccine passport mandate, opinions vary among state governors, with most falling along partisan lines as to where they stand on the issue.

Per Ballotpedia, as of this writing “thirteen states — Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Montana, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Utah — have prohibited proof-of-vaccination requirements at all or some levels of government.” They also noted that “three states — New York, Hawaii, and Oregon — exempt fully vaccinated individuals from some COVID-19 restrictions if they can provide proof of vaccination.”

The more people become vaccinated, the more the issue heats up. With all of that in mind – especially the Biden admin’s inconsistent responses to questions about the issue, Republican Sens. Ted Cruz (Texas), Mike Braun (Ind.), and Cynthia Lummis (Wyo.) introduced a bill Friday that would effectively ban federal vaccine passports. The bill would also prohibit an employer from being able to discriminate against an employee or a prospective one in the event they didn’t get the vaccine.

Cruz appeared on “Fox and Friends” Friday morning, and posted this video and a few others to his Twitter account explaining his position:

Because CNN’s resident tough guy Chris Cuomo is a complete idiot, he tried playing gotcha games with Cruz by attempting to draw a non-sensical correlation between the freedom to choose not to get the vaccine and the so-called “right” to get an abortion:

No doubt considering the source of the tweet, Cruz went for the jugular in his response:

Needless to say, the windbag otherwise known as “Fredo” Cuomo did not appreciate being reminded of the multiple allegations of sexual harassment and assault his brother New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is facing (and which Cuomo won’t discuss on his “Prime Time” program for some strange reason, though he was recently outed for advising the governor and his office on this matter and others privately), and laughably accused Cruz of being “weak” on the issue:

As I read Cuomo’s limp retort, this sound of the Price is Right “loser” tone could be heard playing softly in the background:

Hey Chris, word of advice for you: Don’t quit your day job. Oh wait – maybe you should.

Cruz hasn’t responded as of yet, but considering he wasn’t given much material to work with (and bearing in mind that his initial response was the right one), it would be completely understandable if he ignored Gov. Cuomo’s attention-seeking little brother and continued observing the Memorial Day holiday weekend accordingly. Can’t say as I blame him.
