The good news from the tax cuts from the GOP tax bill passed last December continues with the growing list of companies giving their employees bonuses, pay raises, increased contributions to their 401(k) plans, improved health insurance, and other benefits.
According to a list maintained by Americans for Tax Reform, there are now at least 355 companies providing such increased pay and benefits to their employees, affecting more than 3.8 million American workers.

Recent additions to the list include PepsiCo ($1,000 bonuses to full-time front line employees), Cintas Corporation (bonuses paid to 38,000 employees; $1,000 for those who have been employees at least a year, $500 if less than a year), MetLife, Inc. (increased minimum wage to $15/hour, established a minimum group life insurance benefit, enhanced 401(k) plan, created $10 million skills development fund), U-Haul (bonuses for over 28,000 employees; $1,200 for full-time, $500 for part-time), and CVS Health (base wage raised to $11/hour, created new parental leave plan, company absorbing increased costs of health insurance plan).
Remember, Nancy Pelosi thinks these are just crumbs.
