posting. What is so difficult about cutting out the unconstitional Obamacare bill, defunding Planned Parenthood, NPR and the Czars? That the above made it into the continuing resolution is a cause to be mad as hell at the lack of any scruples let alone principal from the current leadership. Time to man up, pack a parachute, and if they walk away after two years with their jobs they know they will have done the country some good by actually taking on the most pressing issues and we can send the CPUSA endorsed Donkeys and Donkey horses ( RINOs) packing.

Anyone who’s ever raised a teenager knows that “five more minutes” means “until you put your foot down”. At the very least, the GOP should insist that each CR be no longer than half the length of the previous one; the last one was two weeks, and Biden left the country, this one will be a week, and if the Dems don’t get their act together soon, they’ll be voting on a CR every four hours.

Let’s see who ends up looking like the adults in that situation.

the continual need to pass continuing resolutions will only detract from the need to move on to the real business of cuts – most of which will have to be in the 2012 budget resolutions. And get to defunding Obamacare, NPR, NEA, Planned Parenthood, etc.

I like Ms. Bachman’s suggestion…If you must play the game…demand Obamacare be defunded for the pleasure of a continuing resolution…Great step one I believe.

is just the Dems version of rope-a-dope. Repubs win skirmishes & lose the war. Dems keep their bloated govt AND keep the implementation of Obamacare funded and moving forward.

did actually stand up to the establishment and vote against the CR today. Unfortunately, the bill still passed no thanks to the squishy Repubs who voted for it.

Unfortunately, my Rep. was one of the squishes and not the leaders (Rep. Lankford). But I am not entirely surprised. Despite his platform of fiscal and social conservatism during his election, there were concerns that he could be co-opted by the establishment. He showed some signs that these concerns were not warranted initially, but with this blatant lack of leadership renews all of my old wariness about him.

I am surprised that Virginia Foxx (NC) is not on that list. She’s always been vocal on these sorts of things. I could not call her office today but I did send a message. I certainly hope she did not vote for this.
