Paging Trump: Here's Your Next Ad: What This Dem Said About Ukraine Is How Crazy They Truly Are

We reported on Saturday that the Ukraine aid bill passed the House with a majority of Republicans voting against it. However, many Republicans also voted for it.

As we noted Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) excoriated House Speaker Mike Johnson, calling it a capitulation, and showing the Democrats wildly waving Ukrainian flags in celebration.

You would think that they were Ukrainian representatives, the way the Democrats acted.

This, of course, is all being done while our own border is left hanging out in the wind, with Joe Biden and the Democrats having left it broken out there for years now, and it's left our Border Patrol agents fuming.

But if you thought that was bad, these comments from Rep. Gerald Connolly (D-VA) certainly took the cake.

“Some say, well, we have to deal with our border first. The Ukrainian Russian border is OUR border!" Connolly yelled.

No, Rep. Connolly, it is not. You have an obligation to defend the U.S. and uphold your oath to our country, not some other country. I don't think Ukraine is mentioned in your oath to uphold the Constitution. How can anyone take this person seriously when he says things like this? If this is truly what he thinks, he should not be in office, because he is not properly able to execute his oath.

Connolly got called out by other Republican members of the House in addition to Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA).

Yes, it's offensive and insane, but this is what many Democrats seem to think; this is why Joe Biden has tried to conflate Ukraine with NATO when it isn't a NATO country. This isn't just his incoherence working here, this is what he thinks.

This is why we are in so much trouble with people who think like this in leadership. Anything to argue some sort of an obligation to Ukraine to keep the unchecked money flow going.

If former President Donald Trump wants an ad to show how insane the Democrats are, he should run with Connolly's comment, with the Democrats waving and wearing the Ukrainian flags, with the question: Who is it that these people truly support? Contrasting with pictures of illegal aliens streaming across the border that they refuse to protect, including running over the National Guard in Texas when they forced their way through the fencing.

Who is it that they are defending here? Because it surely isn't us.
