Biden Throws Israel Under the Bus in Disgusting UN Vote on Ceasefire, Cruz and Cotton Blast Him

For years, the U.S. has stood with its ally Israel despite UN measures trying to stomp on the Jewish state.

The UN was at it again, trying to throw a lifeline out to Hamas, and this time, the U.S. chose not to stand in their way.

The UN Security Council passed a resolution on Monday calling for an immediate ceasefire during Ramadan and demanding the immediate release of the hostages. The Biden team abstained with its vote rather than vetoing it and preventing it from passing. All the other countries voted in favor of the measure.

If there was a ceasefire, it would give Hamas breathing room and would basically prevent Israel from wiping out the Hamas terrorists. If they truly wanted to end the war, Hamas could just let the hostages go. But they don't want to because they'd rather use them as cover and bargaining chips. Plus, they don't want to give up their aim of wiping out Israel.  For each hostage, they hope they can get a lot of Hamas terrorists held by Israel released. That's also what they're trying to angle for with a ceasefire.

Republicans including Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) blasted the Biden administration for throwing Israel under the bus.

This follows the Biden administration and other Democrats trying to pressure Israel to not go into Rafah to finish off Hamas. I reported how Kamala Harris said it would be a "big mistake" if Israel went into Rafah, and she wouldn't rule out "consequences" if Israel did so. That's how vile the Biden team has gotten on the issue at this point. They'll talk about "consequences" for Israel for defending itself more than they will talk about the hostages -- including American hostages -- or taking out Hamas. In the upside-down reality of the Biden team, Israel must fight with one hand tied behind them.

But the bottom line is that Israel is going to do what they need to do at this point. A UN vote is a show vote. They haven't paid any attention to the anti-Israel, anti-US organization in the past. Nor should they. But it does show how despicable the Biden team can be, that they will undermine and abandon an ally just to help their own fortunes in the upcoming election in places like Michigan. The funny thing is, if that's what they're about here, they wouldn't satisfy the angry left with this. The left wants the whole kit and caboodle -- a full ceasefire.
